FAQ

Personal training questions, answered.

Do I need to be a member to book PT?
No — you don't need to be a member to book PT, but a $15 casual visit fee applies per session if you're not a member or pass-holder. Members and pass-holders pay only the PT pack price.
How long does each PT session run?
PT sessions come in 30-minute and 45-minute formats. The 30-minute option is great for focused strength sessions, technique work or weekly check-ins. The 45-minute option gives more room for warm-up, multiple lifts and conditioning.
Can I split a PT pack across the gym and pool?
Yes — the Kickstarter pack in particular is designed to be split between gym sessions and swimming lessons. Talk to your trainer about how to balance them given your goals.
What if I have an injury or medical condition?
Please tell us before your first session. Our trainers regularly work with members managing back pain, joint issues, hypertension and rehab from surgery. If you need a doctor's clearance first, we'll wait.
Are PT packs transferable or refundable?
PT packs are non-transferable and non-refundable, but they're valid for 3 months and we'll extend them if you're sick, injured or away. Just ask in person, by phone, or by email.
How do I pick the right pack to start?
The Kickstarter PT Pack ($150 for 4 × 30-minute sessions) is the smartest entry point. It gives you four sessions to find out which trainer suits you and what 30-minute coaching looks like in practice — then you can graduate to a 30 or 45-pack if it's a fit.
