A 40-minute group class in our heated 25-metre indoor pool. Low-impact, joint-friendly, and surprisingly hard work. Suitable for every fitness level — water carries you, water resists you, water cools you.

AquaFit, explained.

Do I need to know how to swim?
No swimming skills are required. Most exercises are performed in shallow water where participants can stand. You just need to feel comfortable in water and be able to move freely.
How long is a class?
Classes are 40 minutes — warm-up, aerobic, strength, and cool-down/stretching. Most members find attending 1 to 2 times a week brings noticeable results.
What should I wear?
Comfortable, supportive swimwear that allows freedom of movement. Bring goggles if you'd like them — most exercises won't require them but some members prefer them.
Can I join if I have a medical condition or injury?
Many members with medical conditions or injuries find AquaFit a safe and effective form of exercise — the water reduces joint load significantly. Please consult your healthcare provider before starting a new exercise program and let your instructor know about any concerns before class so they can suggest modifications.
What equipment is used?
Foam noodles, water dumbbells, kickboards and flotation belts. All equipment is provided at no extra cost — bring your own if you have a preferred set.
Is AquaFit suitable for beginners?
Yes — instructors can modify every exercise to match your level, from low-intensity beginner work to a serious cardio/strength workout. New participants are welcome any class.
