Residential Painting. Your questions.

What does a residential repaint usually cost?
Pricing varies significantly by home size, surface condition and number of colours. A standard 3-bedroom home exterior repaint typically starts from $4,000–$6,000. Interior repaints from $2,500–$5,000. Tony provides a fixed written quote after a free site visit.
Can you help with colour selection?
Yes — Tony offers a free colour consultation included with every quote. We use digital overlays and on-site test patches to help you visualise the result before committing.
Do you work on new builds?
We work with builders and owner-builders on new builds throughout Brisbane. We're experienced in coordinating with other trades and delivering to builder timelines.
Can you paint a house before settlement?
Yes. Many clients schedule a repaint between exchanging contracts and settlement. Tony will work to your timeline and can prioritise pre-settlement jobs with appropriate notice.
Do you offer a maintenance painting service?
Yes. For clients who want to keep their home looking its best, we offer periodic maintenance repaints at preferential rates. Many of our long-term clients book us every 7–10 years for an exterior refresh.
Are your quotes fixed or can the price change?
Our quotes are fully itemised and fixed — the price in the quote is what you pay. The only exception is if additional work is discovered during prep (like unexpected timber rot) that we couldn't see at the site visit — and we always notify you before proceeding with anything additional.
Do you need council approval to repaint a house?
Standard repaints generally don't require council approval. However, if your property is in a heritage overlay or a body corporate with colour restrictions, we can advise on what's needed before we start.
How do I prepare for painters arriving?
Clear the surfaces you want painted (remove art, furniture, fixtures) and ensure access to all areas. We'll go through a checklist with you at the start of the first day.
