How long will it take to paint my house?
A typical 3-bedroom exterior takes 4–6 days. A full interior repaint 4–8 days. Queenslander restorations and projects with significant prep work take longer. Every quote includes a detailed project timeline.
Are your painters licensed and insured?
Yes. Empire Painting is QBCC licensed, holds full public liability insurance, and all staff are covered by WorkCover Queensland. Tony is also a Dulux Accredited Painter and sits on the board of the Master Painters Association of Queensland.
Do you offer colour consultation?
Yes — free with every quote. Tony uses digital overlays and Dulux colour tools to show you your home in different colour schemes before you commit. On-site test patches are available for final selection.
What paint brands do you use?
Empire Painting uses Dulux exclusively. As a Dulux Accredited Painter, we have access to the full Dulux product range and technical support to select the right paint for every surface and condition.
How long does paint last?
A quality exterior repaint in Brisbane conditions should last 8–12 years with good surface prep. Interior paint typically lasts 10–15 years in living areas, less in high-traffic zones. Tony will give you an honest assessment of your specific surfaces.
