Garden Tidy & Weed Clearing

A standard tidy covers weeding garden beds, clearing leaf litter and debris, light pruning of small shrubs, edging beds back to a clean line, blowing paths and patios, and removing the green waste we've created. Heavier work like full bed renovations, mulching or planting is quoted separately so you only pay for what you actually want done.

Garden tidies are quoted as a fixed price per visit after a quick look at the yard, either in person or from photos sent through. Pricing depends on yard size, how overgrown things are and whether green-waste removal is needed. Quotes are free, there's no call-out fee for visiting, and you only commit once you've agreed the price.

Yes — overgrown reset jobs are some of the most satisfying work we do. The first visit usually focuses on getting things back to a maintainable state: weeds out, paths cleared, beds defined again. From there we can either return for a follow-up tidy as the next layer of growth comes through, or move you onto a regular cycle so it never gets that bad again.

Mulching can be added on top of a tidy as an extra. We supply and lay common Brisbane mulches (sugar cane, pine bark, hardwood chip) and quote per cubic metre based on the bed area you want covered. If you'd prefer to source the mulch yourself we're happy to just lay it for a labour fee.

Almost always. Established Brisbane gardens are tough — weeds and overgrowth come out without harming the plants underneath. Where we're unsure (older shrubs that have been smothered, for example) we'll point things out before cutting and let you decide. Nothing significant gets removed without a yes from you first.

For one-off tidies we're usually one to two weeks out, depending on the season and how big the job is. For Brisbane North suburbs we can sometimes fit a quick afternoon tidy in sooner if a slot opens up. Best to call 0477 000 517 with your suburb and a rough description of the job.
