Core Strength (Pilates Inspired) caters for everyone, from beginner to advanced. This low-impact form of exercise, predominately uses your own body weight to provide resistance and with the help of bands and foam rollers. Our Core Strength classes will help lengthen and stretch all the major muscle groups in the body in a balanced fashion to improve flexibility, strength and balance. Other benefits can be

increased muscle strength and tone, particularly of your abdominal muscles, lower back, hips and buttocks (the ‘core muscles’ of your body)

rehabilitation or prevention of injuries related to muscle imbalances

improved physical coordination and balance

stress management and relaxation.

We run small group (max 8 people) matwork classes that typical include stretching, foam roller/trigger point and core strength Pilates Inspired exercise. Each exercise is performed with attention to proper breathing techniques and abdominal muscle control to get you the best results.
