A real plumber, any hour of the day

Plumbing emergencies do not keep office hours. A burst flexi hose, an overflowing toilet or a hot water system that has failed can cause real damage fast, and the longer it runs the worse it gets. That is why we keep a plumber on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. During the day your call reaches the team directly; after hours the phone diverts to one of our plumbers so you always speak to a real person who can help.

When you call, we will talk you through the immediate steps — often that is as simple as turning off the water at the meter — and let you know how soon we can be there. Our plumbers travel in stocked vehicles, so for most emergencies the repair can be handled in the same visit.

What we treat as an emergency

Burst and leaking pipes, water coming through a ceiling, blocked toilets in a one-bathroom home, sewage backing up, a hot water system that has failed, and major leaks that you cannot isolate are all jobs we will prioritise. If water is escaping and you cannot stop it, treat it as an emergency and call us.

Not sure whether your problem can wait until morning? Call and describe it. We would rather give you honest advice over the phone than have a small problem become an expensive one overnight.

Emergency Plumbing FAQ

Your questions, answered

How quickly can you get to an emergency?+
We aim to reach genuine emergencies as quickly as possible, and our plumbers travel in stocked vehicles so they can respond and repair in one visit wherever practical. When you call, we will give you an honest estimate of how soon we can be there based on where you are and what else is in front of us. One of our customers describes calling at 3pm and having their drain unblocked and the area cleaned up before 5pm the same day. If there is a wait, we will tell you, and we will talk you through how to limit any damage in the meantime.
What counts as a plumbing emergency?+
A plumbing emergency is anything where water or sewage is escaping and causing damage, or where a household has lost an essential service. Burst pipes, major leaks, water through a ceiling, an overflowing or blocked toilet, sewage backing up, and a complete hot water failure all qualify. If you can safely isolate the water and the problem can wait, it may be better handled as a standard booking. If you are not sure, call us and describe what is happening and we will give you straight advice.
Are you available after hours and on weekends?+
Yes. We have a plumber on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. During office hours your call comes through to the team; outside those hours the phone diverts to one of our plumbers so you always reach a real person rather than a message bank. Weekends, public holidays and the middle of the night are all covered, because that is when many of the worst plumbing problems happen.
How does pricing work for emergency call-outs?+
As with all our work, our plumber will give you an upfront quote before starting so there are no unexpected charges. Emergency and after-hours work is quoted on the job in front of us rather than a fixed phone figure. We have built our reputation on honest, competitive pricing, and customers regularly mention that we do not bury every job in call-out fees and hourly-rate surprises. You will know what the repair involves before we begin.
What should I do while I wait for the plumber?+
In most cases the single most useful thing is to turn off the water. For an isolated fixture there is often a small tap behind or beneath it; for a bigger leak, turn off the mains tap at your water meter. If water is near power points or the switchboard, keep clear and turn off power at the board if it is safe to do so. Move valuables away from any water, and put down towels or a bucket. When you call us we will talk you through the right steps for your situation.
Do you cover burst pipes and major leaks?+
Yes. Burst pipes and major leaks are among the most common emergencies we attend. We will locate the source, isolate the water and carry out the repair, and where a leak is hidden we use leak detection to find it without unnecessary damage. Because our vehicles are stocked, most burst-pipe repairs can be completed in the same visit so your water is back on as soon as possible.
Which areas do you cover for emergencies?+
We respond to emergencies across the greater Brisbane region, including the Brisbane City Council, Logan City Council and Redland City Council areas, with coverage extending toward Ipswich and the Gold Coast. If you are unsure whether your suburb is within reach, call us with your location and we will let you know straight away.
