Renovation plumbing from rough-in to fit-off

Renovating a bathroom, kitchen or laundry involves more plumbing than most people expect. Pipework may need to move, drainage has to be set correctly, and every new fixture has to be connected properly so it performs and does not leak.

We handle the plumbing side of renovations from the early rough-in through to the final fit-off — setting up the water and waste connections while the room is open, then installing and connecting the fixtures once the surfaces are in. Getting the rough-in right is what makes the finished room work, and it is the part you never see.

We install the full range of bathroom and kitchen fixtures: toilets, taps, vanity units, shower heads, basins, sinks, mixers and garbage disposal units. If you have chosen and bought your own fixtures, we can install those; if you would like guidance, we are happy to advise on what works well.

Renovation plumbing is coordinated work, and we are used to working alongside builders, tilers and cabinet makers so the plumbing fits the program. Every job is quoted upfront and carries our 12-month workmanship warranty.

Do you do the plumbing for a full bathroom renovation?+
Yes. We handle the plumbing side of a full bathroom renovation, from the rough-in stage — setting up water supply and waste connections while the walls and floor are open — through to the final fit-off, where the toilet, vanity, shower, taps and other fixtures are installed and connected. Getting the rough-in right is what makes the finished bathroom work properly, so it is worth having a licensed plumber involved from the planning stage rather than at the end.
Can you install bathroom and kitchen fixtures I've bought?+
Yes. If you have already chosen and purchased your fixtures — toilet, taps, vanity, basin, shower head, sink, mixers — we can install and connect them as part of the renovation. If you would still like advice on what works well and what to avoid, we are happy to share what we have learned from installing these fixtures across many Brisbane homes. Either way, the installation is done properly and is covered by our workmanship warranty.
Do you work with builders and tilers on a reno?+
Yes. Renovation plumbing is coordinated work, and we are used to working alongside builders, tilers, cabinet makers and other trades so the plumbing fits the overall program. The rough-in needs to happen before tiling and lining; the fit-off happens once surfaces and cabinetry are in. We will work in with the schedule so the renovation flows rather than stalls waiting on the plumber.
What plumbing is involved in a kitchen renovation?+
A kitchen renovation typically involves the sink and its waste, the kitchen mixer tap, connections for a dishwasher and sometimes a fridge water line, and often a garbage disposal unit. If the kitchen layout is changing, the water supply and waste pipes may need to be relocated to suit the new bench and cabinet positions. We handle all of this and coordinate it with the cabinet installation so everything lines up.
How is renovation plumbing quoted?+
Renovation plumbing is quoted upfront, based on the scope of the work — how many fixtures, whether pipework is being relocated, and the stages involved. For a renovation it is often best for us to look at the plans or the space so the quote reflects the real job. You will have a clear quote before work begins, and if the scope changes during the renovation we talk to you about it rather than simply adding to the bill.
Do you handle laundry renovations?+
Yes. Laundries involve their own plumbing — the tub and its tapware, washing machine connections, and floor waste drainage — and they are often renovated alongside a bathroom or kitchen. We handle laundry plumbing as part of renovation work, whether it is a standalone laundry update or part of a larger project.
Do you provide a warranty on renovation plumbing?+
Yes. Our renovation plumbing workmanship carries a 12-month warranty, like all of our work. Renovation plumbing is largely hidden behind walls and under floors once the room is finished, which is exactly why it needs to be done correctly the first time by a licensed plumber.
