A proper annual chemical clean keeps your split system running efficiently, smelling fresh, and — importantly — keeps the manufacturer's warranty valid.
Most split systems lose noticeable efficiency within 12–18 months of install if they aren't cleaned. Dust, mould, and allergens settle into the indoor coil and blower; airflow drops; the unit has to run longer to cool the room; the bill goes up; the air starts to smell.
Tier One does proper chemical cleans — not just a wipe of the filters. The indoor unit is bagged, the coil and blower are flushed with the right chemical wash, drainage is cleared, filters are washed, and the unit is reassembled and run before we leave. Most single-head systems take about an hour.

How often should I get my aircon cleaned?
Most manufacturers recommend annual servicing for residential split systems. If you've got a high-use household — small kids, pets, run year-round — every 9 months can be worth it. If you're using the system a few weeks a year, every 18 months is usually fine.
Why does it matter for the warranty?
Most aircon manufacturers require regular servicing as a condition of the warranty. If a unit fails inside warranty and there's no service record, the claim can be denied. We provide a service receipt every visit so you've got the paper trail.
How long does a clean take?
A standard single-head split system is about an hour. Multi-head systems are longer — usually count on an hour per indoor unit. We can clean three or four units in a half-day visit.
Can you do multiple units in one visit?
Yes — and most clients with multi-head systems get them all done together so there's only one visit a year. If you've got three or four units, we'll quote them as a package.
Will the unit smell better afterwards?
Almost always, yes. The musty smell that builds up in a long-overdue aircon is mould and biofilm in the coil and drain. The chemical wash removes it. Most clients notice the difference in air quality within the first day.
Do you cover Brisbane?
Yes — aircon cleans across Brisbane and out to Caboolture, Cleveland, Pimpama and Ipswich. If we're already in your area for another job, we can sometimes slot it in same-week.
What about commercial spaces?
We focus on residential, but small-office or home-office systems are no different mechanically. If you've got a dental clinic or a strata block with shared systems, give us a call and we'll let you know honestly whether we're the right fit.
