/ Service — Residential Electrical
Renos, lights, fans, and the gremlins in between.
Domestic electrical for Brisbane homes — from a single light install to a full renovation rewire. The kind of job that gets done properly the first time, and the wires get tucked away properly.

There's a lot of overlap in residential electrical: a smoke alarm install today, a tripping circuit tomorrow, a kitchen renovation next month. Tier One handles all of it under the one ABN, so you've got one number to call no matter what's going on at the house.
Jake comes out to quote, walks the job with you, then writes it up — no nasty surprises when the invoice lands. Work goes in clean, with the conduit run properly and the cables labelled in the box. We sweep up before we leave.

/ Common questions — Residential Electrical
Residential Electrical — answers to the questions we hear most often
Do you cover Brisbane?
Yes — Brisbane is the home base, with most jobs across the inner suburbs and out to Caboolture, Cleveland, Pimpama and Ipswich. If you're inside that radius, Jake will travel to you.
How do quotes work?
We come out and quote on-site so the number is real, not a guess. There's no charge for the visit. The written quote details inclusions, exclusions, and a start date — what we say is what you'll pay.
Can you handle small jobs (single light, fan, etc.)?
Absolutely. Most weeks have a mix of small jobs (a fan install, a fault find) alongside the bigger renos. There's no minimum job — if it's a one-hour visit, that's fine.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — Electrical Licence #91824 (and Arctick #L152701 for refrigeration / aircon work). Public liability insurance is in place for residential work, so the job is covered if anything ever goes sideways.
How quickly can you come?
It depends on the week, but smaller jobs in the area can usually slot in within a few days. Genuine emergencies — power out, smoking outlet — get prioritised same or next day where possible. Just call so we can sort it.
How long does a typical residential job take?
A single fan or light install is usually a 1–2 hour visit. A safety switch upgrade is a half-day. A bathroom rewire is normally one full day. A full kitchen reno is several days, scheduled around the cabinetmaker and tiler. We tell you up-front so the day is planned.
Do I need to be home for the job?
Best if someone's there to let us in and confirm any decisions, but for repeat clients we can work from a key. Either way, we'll touch base before we arrive and again before we leave so you know what's been done.
