Terms of Trade

1. Quotes
Quotes are valid for 30 days. Unless stated otherwise, amounts in quotes are exclusive of GST and any credit card or other merchant fees. Quotes are based on costs and charges applying at the date of quote — any changes outside our control may be claimed as a variation, and we'll provide an updated quote where possible before doing the work.
2. Acceptance
If you accept a quote, or otherwise engage us to carry out services, you accept that these terms apply to those services and to all other goods and services we provide you from time to time (unless we agree otherwise in writing).
3. Payment
EFTPOS payment is available at the Manukau bay for one-off wash services. Trade account customers are invoiced monthly, with payment due on the 20th of the month following invoice. Direct debit arrangements can be set up by request.
4. Variations
If the scope of work changes (different vehicles, additional cleaning, access issues, or additional safety requirements), we'll discuss the change with you before continuing and provide an updated price. Variations may be charged in addition to the original quote.
5. Cancellations and access
For scheduled wash visits, please give us as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. We may charge a callout fee for booked visits where access cannot be provided on the day, where this is not due to our fault.
6. Insurance and liability
Powerwash carries public liability insurance and operates within WorkSafe NZ-aligned health and safety systems. We are liable for damage caused directly by our negligence, but our liability is limited to the cost of remediation or, at our option, refund of the relevant service fee. We are not liable for consequential loss.
7. Environmental compliance
We will not perform work in a way that breaches environmental regulations. If a site cannot be cleaned compliantly (for example, no wastewater containment is possible), we will discuss alternatives with you and may decline the job rather than create an environmental risk.
