Prefer training with friends? Small-group sessions of 3 to 4 people, programmed and coached around your group's goals. Great for partners, workmates, or a regular crew that pushes each other.

Group training is small-group personal training — not a class. We coach groups of three or four people through a session built around the group's shared goals. Same trainer, same crew, same program track. Great accountability, lower per-person cost than one-on-one PT, and a lot more fun.
Group session pricing varies based on the number of participants and session length. The more participants, the lower the per-person rate. The best way to get a quote is to tell us how many people, your goals and how often you'd like to train — we'll put together pricing that works for your group.
All group training is by appointment — usually one or two fixed times a week that work for the whole crew. We'll find a slot together so the consistency is built in from the start.
Group training at Phoenix is small — three to four people per session. We keep it small on purpose so your trainer can still coach form, scale loads to each person and actually program for everyone in the group. Larger than four and it stops being personal training and starts being a class — which isn't what we do.
Pricing varies based on the size of the group and session length. The cost is split across the group, so per-person it's lower than one-on-one PT — but the exact rate depends on the format. Tell us how many people, your goals and how often you'd like to train and we'll put together a tailored quote.
Yes — your coach scales loads, sets and movements to each person individually within the session. That said, groups work best when participants have broadly similar goals (everyone wants strength, or everyone wants conditioning) even if their starting points are different. Have a chat with us about your specific group and we'll work out the right structure.
Most groups train one or two fixed times a week — usually the same days and times so it becomes part of the routine. The session length and frequency you pick depend on goals: strength gains usually need two sessions a week minimum, while a single session a week can work well as accountability for people who also train independently.
The session still runs for the remaining members of the group. We'll talk through the cancellation and rescheduling policy with you when we set up the group so the rules are clear from day one.
Yes — small corporate teams are a great fit for our group training model. We can program around your team's general fitness, build sessions around team-building, or focus on a specific goal like a charity event or company step challenge. Get in touch and we'll talk you through what's possible.
Get in touch via our contact form or call Jay directly on 0416 805 228. We'll ask a few quick questions about your group — who's in it, what you want to achieve and when you'd like to train — and put together a tailored proposal you can take back to the group.
Tell us about your crew and we'll put together a quote that works.
