Pressure Washing

Concrete paths, driveways, undercover school areas, commercial concrete (loading bays, walkways, courtyards), pavers, brickwork, and most masonry surfaces. We adjust the pressure and nozzle for each surface so we restore the look without damaging soft mortar or older render. For painted surfaces and timber decking we'll talk through whether pressure washing is the right approach or whether a softer wash would suit better.

Yes — surface mould, algae, oxidation streaks, leaf-tannin staining, and built-up grime all come off cleanly with the right pressure and surface treatment. Deep oil stains in concrete may need a degreaser pre-treatment, which we quote separately if it's needed. We'll do a small test patch on arrival so you can see the difference before we commit the full surface, and we won't talk you into work that won't pay off.

A residential driveway and front path runs about 1 to 2 hours depending on the size and condition. School undercover areas and commercial sites are generally a half-day to a full-day job. We'll quote the time up front so you know what to expect, and we work efficiently — pressure washing is one of those jobs where the difference between a fast finish and a thorough finish is more about technique than time.

We use the property's water supply for pressure washing — it's the standard arrangement and avoids the cost and time of bringing tanks. If your site doesn't have a working tap close to the work area, let us know in advance and we'll bring an extension solution. Water usage is generally modest for pressure washing — a typical residential driveway is well under 200 litres, and far less than running a sprinkler for the same time.
