Lawn Mowing work in Brisbane
What's included

How Nick approaches lawn mowing.

Most properties in Paddington, Auchenflower, Bardon, and Toowong work best on a fortnightly cycle through spring and summer, dropping to monthly through winter. We bring our own gear, work the lawn in the right direction for the cut you want, line-trim every edge and obstacle, and tidy clippings off paths and beds before we leave.

For larger blocks or schools and commercial sites, the rhythm and the gear scales up but the standard doesn't change — clean lines, clean finish, no torn turf, no left clippings.

Pricing is per visit, quoted in writing before we start. Inner-west suburbs have no call-out fee.

Common questions

Asked a lot. Answered straight.

How do you charge for lawn mowing?

We quote per visit based on the size of the lawn, the condition it's in when we arrive, and how often you'd like us back. Our minimum visit charge covers a typical front-and-back yard in Paddington or Auchenflower; larger lots, slopes, or heavily overgrown lawns are quoted higher. Quotes are free and given before we start, and the price you're quoted is the price you pay — no surprises at the end. Most regular clients lock in a fortnightly schedule, which keeps the per-visit cost lower than one-off jobs.

Do you cover Paddington and the inner-Brisbane suburbs?

Yes — Paddington, Auchenflower, Toowong, Bardon, Milton, Indooroopilly, Red Hill, and most of the inner-west and CBD fringe. We're based in Auchenflower so the inner-west is our home turf and you're never waiting long for a quote or a visit. If you're outside that radius, get in touch anyway — we'll let you know honestly whether the travel is workable for the size of your job.

How long does a typical lawn mowing visit take?

A standard residential lawn — front and back yard, hedge edges, line-trim, and a light tidy of cuttings — runs about 45 minutes to 90 minutes from arrival to leaving the property cleaner than we found it. Larger blocks, uneven ground, or lawns that have been left longer than usual take more time, and we'll let you know in advance so there are no surprises. We don't rush the finish — the lawn looks proper when we leave.

Do I need to be home when you mow?

Not at all — most regulars give us gate access and we work through whether you're home or not. If you'd prefer to be there for the first visit so we can walk through what you'd like, that's the most common approach. We'll always send a quick message when the job is done so you know it's been completed, and we can include a photo if that helps.

What happens if it rains on the day I'm scheduled?

Brisbane weather is what it is — if the lawn is too wet to cut cleanly, we'll reschedule to the next available dry day rather than tear up your turf. Cutting wet grass leaves clumps, ruts, and a torn finish, so it's worth the short wait. We message you before we move things around, and your slot gets prioritised in the rescheduled run.

Will you take the lawn clippings away?

By default we leave clippings mulched back into the lawn — it's better for the soil and faster for everyone, and on a regular cycle there's no visible build-up. If you'd prefer them caught and removed, just let us know and we'll quote that as an extra so the green-waste removal cost is clear up front. For larger one-off jobs (overgrown lots, post-tenancy clean-outs), removal is usually included in the quote.

Are you insured?

Public liability cover is standard for working on residential, school, and commercial properties in Brisbane — schools and commercial property managers ask to see a current certificate of currency before any site visit, and that's a conversation we have directly when you call. For residential clients it's something you usually never need to think about, but the conversation is open if you'd like to talk it through.
