If you're considering training with Carla, these are the questions that come up the most often.

Do you train men, or only women?
Both. The dedicated small-group strength sessions are women-only — that's the whole point of them. One-on-one personal training is open to men and women over 45. Around half my one-on-one clients are men.
I haven't lifted weights before. Can I still join a group class?
Absolutely — group sessions are capped at 8 women and the first sessions are about technique, not load. You'll be eased into lifting at the right weight for your body. Most newcomers are completely untrained when they start.
How much does training cost?
It depends on the service — group classes are billed per session or per pack, and one-on-one personal training is priced per hour. The best way to get current pricing is to drop Carla a message describing what you're after and she'll send the right options back.
Where exactly is the studio?
7 Wolverhampton Street, Stafford QLD 4053 — 8km north of the Brisbane CBD. Looking after Stafford, Grange, Wilston, Windsor, Kedron, Gordon Park, Lutwyche, Alderley, Clayfield, Hendra and Ashgrove.
Do you offer online programs if I'm not in Brisbane?
Yes — there are self-paced online programs including the Body & Mindset 4-Week Reset and the 7-Day Menopause Strength Plan. They're designed to run from home or your local gym.
How long are the sessions?
Group classes are 30 minutes — long enough to do the work, short enough to fit into a real week without dread. One-on-one personal training sessions are typically 45 to 60 minutes.
I'm currently in perimenopause / menopause — is training safe?
Resistance training is one of the most evidence-supported interventions for women in perimenopause and menopause. It helps protect bone density, preserve muscle, improve sleep and lift mood. Every program adapts around where you're at — not against it.
