If you are a woman over 50 you need to be lifting weight — and you need to make sure you're doing it properly, guided by an experienced trainer. Here we take our time making sure the quality of the lift is done properly so the results come faster AND you keep your body injury free. These sessions are fitness programs designed specifically for menopausal women.
Being 50 myself, I am well and truly in the menopause phase — and with that comes a wealth of knowledge from my own experiences. I offer small group training for women only over 50, designed by a woman in her 50s, to help with the symptoms of perimenopause and menopause.
All classes are full-body 30-minute sessions. They are capped at 8 women so that every person gets eyes on their form. You'll train at your own pace with guidance from a qualified, experienced female personal trainer — no shouty bootcamp energy, no comparison-to-the-room pressure.
Sessions rotate through strength & conditioning, technique & resistance work, boxing & strength, mobility & reset, and weekend circuits. The variety keeps the body adapting and keeps your week interesting.
