Restore and Protect Your Leather Furniture

Leather furniture is a significant investment that rewards proper care. Body oils, dust, food residues and sun exposure gradually degrade the surface — dulling the finish, drying the hide and causing premature cracking. A professional clean and conditioning treatment reverses much of this, bringing tired leather back to life without damaging the surface.

Andrew uses pH-balanced, leather-specific products suited to each leather type — aniline, semi-aniline or pigmented — and follows with a quality conditioner that replenishes lost natural oils and adds a protective layer against future soiling.

  • Leather ottomans
  • Dining chairs
  • Home office chairs
  • Car leather seats
  • Stain & oil removal
  • Conditioning & protection

Leather is dry to the touch almost immediately after cleaning — no long wait before you can sit down again. Most lounge suites take one to two hours from start to finish.

Our Leather Cleaning Process

1

Identify & Inspect

We identify the leather type (aniline, semi-aniline or pigmented) and check for existing damage before selecting the right products.

2

Clean

A pH-balanced leather cleaner is worked into the surface, lifting body oils, dust and grime without stripping the protective finish.

3

Condition

A quality leather conditioner is applied, replenishing the natural oils the hide loses over time and restoring suppleness.

4

Protect

A protective finish is buffed in, helping repel future stains and slow the re-soiling that accelerates leather ageing.

Leather Cleaning FAQs

What types of leather can you clean?
We clean aniline, semi-aniline, pigmented and bonded leather. Each type requires different products and technique — we identify the leather type before starting and select accordingly.
Can you remove body-oil buildup and darkened armrests?
Yes. Body oil and sweat accumulate in contact zones like armrests and headrests. A thorough clean followed by conditioning typically restores the colour and texture to near-original condition.
Do I need to condition leather after cleaning?
Conditioning is strongly recommended after every clean. Leather loses natural oils during the cleaning process — conditioning replenishes them, keeping the surface supple and resistant to cracking. We include conditioning in every leather service.
Can you fix light scratches or scuffs on leather?
Minor surface scuffs often diminish significantly after cleaning and conditioning. For deeper scratches, we can advise on repair products — though extensive structural damage may require a specialist leather restorer.
How often should leather furniture be professionally cleaned?
Once a year is ideal for leather in daily use. Between professional cleans, wipe down with a slightly damp cloth monthly and apply a quality conditioner every 3–6 months to maintain the leather's integrity.
Is leather cleaning safe for cream and light-coloured leather?
Yes, though light leathers require extra care. We use colour-safe, pH-balanced products and test on a hidden area before cleaning the full piece to ensure there's no tonal shift or staining.
How long does leather cleaning take?
Most leather lounge suites take 1–2 hours to clean and condition. The leather is dry to the touch almost immediately — no extended drying time is required, so you can use the furniture the same day.
Do you service areas outside Noosaville?
Yes — we cover Noosa Heads, Sunshine Beach, Peregian Beach, Tewantin, Cooroy, Eumundi and surrounding Sunshine Coast areas. Call to confirm your location.
