Privacy policy
This policy explains how RL Electrical Contractors collects, uses, stores and discloses personal information. We're bound by the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
We collect personal information you give us when you contact us — name, phone number, email address, suburb, and any details about the work you're enquiring about. If you become a customer we keep your billing details, the addresses where work was performed, and the records associated with that work (quotes, invoices, certificates).
How we use it
To respond to enquiries, schedule and perform work, raise invoices, follow up on warranty matters, and meet our compliance obligations under Queensland electrical and workplace-safety legislation. We don't sell personal information. We don't share it with third parties for marketing.
Storage and security
Customer records are stored in secured business systems with access limited to staff who need them. Payment records are kept for the period required by Australian tax and consumer-protection law (typically seven years).
Your rights
You can ask to access the personal information we hold about you, request corrections, or ask for it to be deleted (subject to records we're legally required to keep). Email or phone us using the contact details on the contact page.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate visitor activity. Analytics data is anonymised and is not used to identify individual visitors. The site does not run advertising trackers or remarketing pixels.
Updates
This policy may be updated to reflect changes to law or business practice. The current version is always the one published on this page.
