Yes — Ashgrove is our home base, and we cover Paddington, Bardon, Red Hill, The Gap, Wilston, Newmarket and the broader inner north and inner west of Brisbane every day. If you're in greater Brisbane and not sure whether you're inside our coverage, give us a quick call and we'll let you know on the phone — we'd rather be honest about travel than turn up and surprise you with extra fees.

We don't charge upfront for general enquiries — call or send a job description through and we'll talk through what's likely involved before any vehicle leaves the yard. For straightforward repairs we usually quote a fixed price once we've sighted the job; complex installations we'll provide a written itemised quote with parts and labour broken out so there are no surprises on the invoice.

Same-day response is the norm for active leaks during business hours, and we run a 24-hour emergency line for the urgent stuff — burst flexi hoses, gas smells, sewerage backups. If you call or text the bookings number outside hours and it's a real emergency, Matt will get back to you fast. Non-urgent jobs (taps, drips, scheduled work) usually slot into the next available day or two.

Yes — Matt Price Plumbing operates under a current Queensland plumbing and gasfitting licence, and we carry full public liability insurance. Every plumber and gasfitter on our team is qualified and signed off on the work they do; we won't send a labourer to do a licensed job. We're happy to share licence numbers and certificates of currency on request before any work begins.

Every repair and installation we do is backed by our own workmanship guarantee on top of any manufacturer's product warranty. If something we've installed or repaired plays up because of how the work was done, we come back and put it right — no quibbling. Manufacturer faults on parts we've supplied are covered under the relevant brand warranty, which we'll process on your behalf.

We accept bank transfer, card payment via secure invoice link (Visa, Mastercard, Amex with a small surcharge), and cash on the day for smaller jobs. Larger installations can usually be split into a deposit on booking and balance on completion. We invoice through Xero so you'll receive a clean PDF receipt for your records and any tax or insurance claims.
