Our base is Ashgrove and we work right across inner Brisbane and the inner-north — Paddington, Bardon, The Gap, Red Hill, Wilston, Newmarket, Stafford, Kelvin Grove, Indooroopilly, Toowong, Brisbane CBD, Everton Park and the surrounding suburbs. If you're not sure whether you're inside our coverage, ring or text the bookings number and we'll let you know on the phone before anyone leaves the yard.
Standard hours are Monday to Friday from 7am to 4:30pm and Saturday and Sunday 7am to 4pm. We also run a 24-hour emergency line for genuine urgent jobs — burst pipes, gas leaks, sewerage backups — so don't wait until Monday morning if water is actively damaging the house. For non-urgent enquiries the contact form is the fastest way to get a call back.
Yes. Matt Price Plumbing and Gas holds current Queensland plumbing and gasfitting licences and carries full public liability cover. Every team member working on a licensed job is signed off on the relevant scope. We're happy to send through licence details and a certificate of currency before any work starts — just ask when you book.
Bank transfer, card payment (Visa, Mastercard, Amex — small surcharge applies on cards), and cash on the day for smaller jobs. Larger installations are usually a deposit on booking with the balance on completion. Invoices come through Xero with a clean PDF and itemised parts/labour breakdown for your records.
For anything beyond a simple service call we provide written, itemised quotes — parts and labour separated, with a clear inclusions and exclusions list. Quotes are honoured for the period stated on the document (typically 30 days), and if anything changes once we open up walls or floors we'll stop and confirm with you before adding cost. No surprise invoices at the end.
Yes — every repair and installation is backed by our own workmanship guarantee on top of any manufacturer warranty on supplied products. If something we've done plays up because of how it was done, we come back and put it right at no additional charge. Product faults on parts we've supplied are processed under the manufacturer's warranty terms, and we handle the paperwork on your behalf.
