How do I know if I need a new hot water system?

That depends on your household size, how much hot water you use and the space available. When we visit we'll talk through the options and recommend a system that suits your home. The choice is yours — we just make sure you have the information to make it.
How is hot water installation priced?
Pricing depends on the system you choose and the work involved in fitting it — for example, whether the new unit goes in the same spot as the old one. We give you an upfront quote covering supply and installation before any work begins.
Can you replace my old unit with the same type?
Yes. If you're happy with your current type of system, we can supply and install a like-for-like replacement, which is often the most straightforward option. We'll let you know if there's a good reason to consider an alternative.
Do you repair hot water systems as well as install them?
Yes. Not every hot water problem needs a new unit. We can diagnose faults and carry out repairs where the system is worth keeping, and give you honest advice when replacement is the smarter call.
Are you licensed to install hot water systems?
Yes. Hot water installation must be carried out by a licensed plumber, and M&W Plumbing holds a Queensland-certified plumbing and drainage licence (QBCC Licence 15010152). We install every system to the required standard.
How quickly can you replace a failed hot water unit?
