Do you work with our builder and other trades?
Yes. Renovation plumbing has to dovetail with the builder, tiler and waterproofer, and we're used to coordinating those handovers. We'll line up our rough-in and fit-off around the other trades so the project keeps moving and nothing has to be redone.
How is renovation plumbing priced?
We assess the scope of your renovation before quoting, because pricing depends on the layout, the number of fixtures and how much pipework needs to move. Once we've reviewed the plans or seen the space, you get a clear written quote covering the plumbing stages.
Can you help choose where fixtures go?
We can offer practical advice on fixture placement from a plumbing point of view — what's straightforward, what adds cost, and what will work best long term. The final design choices are yours, but we'll flag anything worth knowing before the walls close up.
Do you supply the tapware and fixtures?
We can coordinate fixture supply, or install items you've chosen yourself. Many clients like to pick their own tapware and basins for the look they want — just let us know early so we can make sure everything is compatible with the rough-in.
How long does renovation plumbing take?
It depends on the size of the renovation and how it's staged with the other trades. Plumbing usually happens in two visits — rough-in early, then fit-off near the end. We'll give you a realistic timeline once we understand the full scope.
Are you licensed for renovation work?
Yes. M&W Plumbing holds a Queensland-certified plumbing and drainage licence (QBCC Licence 15010152). Renovation plumbing must be done by a licensed plumber, and we're happy to provide our licence details for your records.
Do you renovate kitchens as well as bathrooms?
