How do you charge for home plumbing jobs?
We give you an upfront quote before we start, so you know the cost before any work goes ahead. For smaller jobs we can often quote once we've seen the problem; for larger work we'll assess it properly first. Either way, there are no hidden extras.
Can you come out for a small job like a leaking tap?
Absolutely. No job is too small — a leaking tap or running toilet is exactly the kind of everyday work we do. Small problems also tend to get worse and waste water, so it's worth getting them sorted early. Give us a call to book a time.
Do you offer after-hours or urgent help?
Our standard hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. If you have an urgent plumbing problem, call us and explain what's happening — we'll do our best to fit you in as soon as possible and let you know honestly when we can get there.
Which areas do you cover for residential work?
We're based in Paddington and service homes right across Brisbane and Logan, including the inner-west and inner-north suburbs. If you're nearby and not sure whether we reach you, just ask.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. M&W Plumbing holds a Queensland-certified plumbing and drainage licence (QBCC Licence 15010152) and carries insurance. Using a licensed plumber protects your home and makes sure the work meets Queensland standards.
Can you find a leak if I'm not sure where it is?
Yes. If your water bill has jumped or you can see damp patches but not the source, we can investigate and locate the leak before repairing it. Catching a hidden leak early saves water and prevents damage to your home.
