We check the manufacturer’s cleaning code and inspect for damage, pre-existing stains and colourfastness.

Vacuum & pre-spray
Thorough vacuuming followed by a fabric-appropriate pre-spray for soiling, oils and odours.

Hot extract or dry-clean
Steam extraction for W-coded fabrics, solvent dry-cleaning for S-coded — whatever the upholstery needs.

How long does it take to clean a 3-seater lounge?
A typical 3-seater takes 60 to 90 minutes including inspection, vacuuming, pre-treatment and extraction. Sectionals, recliners with mechanical bases, and modulars take longer because we need to clean each piece individually. Drying time is 4–8 hours depending on fabric and humidity.
Can you clean leather or microsuede?
We focus on fabric upholstery — natural fibres, synthetics and microsuede. We don’t clean genuine leather or bonded leather because they need a completely different process (conditioning rather than extraction). If you’re unsure what your lounge is made of, send us a photo when you book.
Will the cleaning shrink or damage my fabric?
We always check the manufacturer’s upholstery code before we start. W-coded fabrics handle hot-water extraction safely; S-coded fabrics get solvent dry-cleaning instead. If a fabric is marked X (vacuum only) or we have any doubt, we’ll tell you upfront and refund any deposit — we don’t take risks with your furniture.
Do you remove pet smells?
Yes — pet urine, dander and saliva are some of the most common reasons people call us. Our enzyme treatment breaks down the proteins that cause the odour, rather than just masking the smell. For heavily contaminated cushions we may recommend a two-pass treatment with a re-inspection between.
Do you cover Cabarita Beach, Casuarina and Pottsville?
Yes. Our standard service area includes Bogangar, Cabarita Beach, Casuarina, Pottsville, Hastings Point, Kingscliff, Chinderah, Tweed Heads and Ocean Shores. We work elsewhere on the Tweed Coast on request — give us a call.
How is upholstery cleaning priced?
Pricing is per piece — armchair, 2-seater, 3-seater, recliner, dining chair. We give you a fixed written quote before we arrive based on size, fabric type and condition. Heavy soiling or specific stain treatments may carry a small extra charge, but you’ll always see it in the quote, never after.
Should I have my upholstery cleaned before or after a deep house clean?
Either order works, but if you’re doing both, we usually recommend upholstery before — it kicks up a small amount of fibre dust that’s easier to mop up during the house clean. Mention both when you book and we’ll coordinate the timing for you.
How long does upholstery cleaning last?
A professional clean typically lasts 9 to 18 months for normal household use. Heavy-traffic family lounges or homes with multiple pets benefit from a 6-monthly clean. Many of our clients book us as part of their seasonal home reset.
