About Susan and the team

Lumina Home Care is owned and operated by Susan, a Tweed Coast local who started the business because she couldn’t find a mattress cleaner she actually trusted to walk into her own home. The job was always either rushed, oversold, or done with chemistry she didn’t want around her own kids.

So she built the alternative: a small, accountable team that arrives in uniform, treats your home like their own, and uses eco-friendly products on request because parents shouldn’t have to choose between a clean mattress and a safe one. What we’re known for

Specialist mattress cleaning is where we started — and it’s still the work we’re proudest of. Over time we’ve added upholstery and lounge restoration, recurring house cleaning, small-office commercial cleaning, and the more occasional driveway and bin-cleaning visits. Most clients start with one service and add the others as they get to know us.

Where we serve

Our standard service area covers Bogangar, Cabarita Beach, Casuarina, Pottsville, Hastings Point, Kingscliff, Chinderah, Tweed Heads and Ocean Shores. Most jobs are within 25 km of Bogangar. If you’re a little further out, give us a call — we can usually fit you in on a route day.

What we won’t do

We don’t do upsell-by-default. We don’t use scare tactics about “what’s living in your mattress.” We don’t lock you into contracts you can’t leave. We won’t take a job we don’t think we can do well — and we’ll tell you upfront if a stain isn’t going to come fully out, rather than pretend it will and then make excuses.

The whole business is built on the kind of trust you only get one shot at: handing someone the keys to your home. We don’t take that lightly.
