We use modern hot-water extraction (steam cleaning) — the most effective method for removing dirt, stains, allergens and bacteria from carpet fibres. It's safe for all carpet types and recommended by most manufacturers.
How long does carpet cleaning take to dry?
Most carpets are dry within 2–4 hours. Good ventilation — open windows and doors — speeds this up significantly. Avoid walking on the carpet until it's fully dry to prevent re-soiling.
Can you remove all stains?
We treat all visible stains as part of the service. Most common stains (food, beverage, mud) respond very well to steam cleaning. Some stains like bleach, certain dyes or old pet urine may be permanently set — we'll advise you honestly before we start.
Do I need to vacuum before you arrive?
A quick vacuum before our arrival helps, but it's not essential — we vacuum as part of our process before applying steam. If you have time, removing loose debris does allow us to focus more treatment time on the deep-clean itself.
How often should carpets be professionally cleaned?
For residential carpets with normal use, once every 12–18 months is a good guide. High-traffic areas or homes with pets or young children benefit from a clean every 6–12 months.
Is carpet cleaning required at end of lease?
Yes — most Queensland leases require professional carpet cleaning at the end of the tenancy. We can combine an end-of-lease clean and carpet steam clean on the same day for maximum efficiency.
Will cleaning shrink my carpet?
No. Modern hot-water extraction equipment controls temperature and moisture carefully to prevent shrinkage. Wool and natural fibre carpets get slightly different treatment settings — we check carpet type before we start.
Do you clean rugs as well as carpets?
Yes, we clean area rugs as well as wall-to-wall carpet. Delicate rugs (silk, antique, hand-woven) may need specialist off-site treatment — let us know what you have and we'll advise the best approach.
