How a consultation works
A geomantic survey draws on three frameworks to assess the energy flow through a space and identify areas for adjustment:
- Bagua mapping — the eight-area energy map applied to your floor plan to identify each zone's associations and current condition.
- Chinese five element theory — Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water used to understand relationships between areas, people and seasonal influence.
- 9 Star Ki astrology — Japanese numerological astrology that incorporates birthdates of occupants to personalise the report and identify timing for changes.
The survey uses floor plans, birthdates and your specific concerns to produce a written report with practical recommendations you can implement progressively.
To prepare for a consultation
- A floor plan or a rough sketch of your property layout.
- Birthdates of all main occupants.
- A list of specific concerns — areas of difficulty, goals you want to support, or changes you're considering.
- Any relevant history about the space (construction date, previous uses, renovations).
