  • Train with the same women each week for real accountability
  • In-person in Manly West or fully online across Australia
  • All fitness levels welcome — every movement is modified as needed

Questions Answered

Common Questions About Small Group PT

What is small group personal training?

Small group personal training combines the expertise and attention of a personal trainer with the energy and accountability of training alongside others. Sessions are kept to small numbers so Sally can coach every person individually while you still benefit from the community feel of training with like-minded women.

How many people are in each session?

Sessions at Fit With Sally are intentionally kept small to ensure every participant receives quality coaching and personalised attention throughout the workout. This isn't a large group fitness class — it's genuine small-group coaching.

Do I need to be fit to start?

Absolutely not. Fit With Sally's programs are designed for women at every fitness level. Sally modifies exercises so complete beginners and more experienced participants can train together in the same session without anyone feeling left behind or held back.

Is small group PT available online?

Yes. Fit With Sally offers online small group personal training sessions via video call for women anywhere in Australia. You get the same community, the same programming and the same personal coaching — just from your own space. You'll need a small amount of equipment at home, which Sally can advise on.

How many sessions per week should I do?

Sally offers membership options for 1, 2 or 3 sessions per week depending on your goals, schedule and recovery capacity. Most women find 2 sessions per week is the sweet spot for building fitness while maintaining balance in a busy life. You can always adjust as you settle in.

What kind of exercises will we do?

Sessions include functional strength training movements like squats, deadlifts, pressing and pulling patterns, combined with conditioning work. The focus is on building practical, real-world strength rather than isolated machine-based training. All movements are carefully coached and modified to suit your body and your level.

How is small group PT different from a gym?

Unlike a gym where you're on your own, Fit With Sally's sessions involve a qualified coach watching every movement, cueing technique in real time and adjusting your program over time. You also train alongside the same group of women each week, creating genuine accountability and community that a gym membership simply can't offer.
