Tile & Floor Cleaning Questions
Common questions about hard floor cleaning in the Blue Mountains.
What types of hard floors can you clean?
Matthew cleans ceramic, porcelain, slate, travertine and most natural stone tiles. He adapts the cleaning method and product to the specific surface type — natural stone requires different care from glazed ceramic — to avoid any damage.
Can you clean grout lines?
Yes — deep grout cleaning is a core part of the service. High-pressure extraction lifts built-up grime, mould and staining from grout lines that regular mopping and household cleaners simply can't reach. The difference is immediately visible.
Will floor cleaning damage my tiles?
No. Matthew uses surface-appropriate cleaning solutions and carefully controlled pressure matched to each tile type. Natural stone tiles like travertine require very different treatment from porcelain — he adjusts his approach accordingly.
Which areas of my home can you clean in one visit?
Matthew can clean multiple areas in a single visit — kitchen, bathrooms, laundry, living areas, hallways and outdoor pavers. Bundling multiple areas is more cost-effective than separate visits.
Can you seal tiles and grout after cleaning?
Yes. Sealing is available as an add-on service after cleaning. Sealed grout is significantly easier to keep clean and resists future staining. Ask Matthew about this option when you book.
How long before I can walk on the floor after cleaning?
Most tiled floors can be walked on within 30–60 minutes after cleaning. If a sealant is applied, allow 2–4 hours for it to cure before resuming normal foot traffic.
Can you clean outdoor pavers?
Yes. Matthew cleans outdoor tiled areas and pavers. Outdoor surfaces often accumulate embedded grime, algae and mould that require higher-pressure treatment to clear effectively.
How much does tile and floor cleaning cost?
Pricing depends on floor area, tile type and condition. Call 0410 751 429 or fill in the quote form for a free, no-obligation estimate — Matthew responds same day.
