How long does carpet cleaning take to dry?
Most carpets are dry within 2–4 hours after hot-water extraction. You can walk on them sooner using shoe covers. Drying time varies based on carpet thickness, ventilation and humidity — good air circulation speeds things up considerably.
Can you remove pet stains and odours?
Yes. Matthew uses targeted pre-treatment and professional deodorising solutions designed to break down pet urine at the fibre level — not just mask the odour. Results depend on how long the stain has been there and how deeply it has penetrated the backing.
How often should I have my carpets professionally cleaned?
For most homes, every 12–18 months is recommended. If you have pets, young children or family members with allergies, every 6–12 months is better. High-traffic hallways and lounge areas may need attention sooner than bedrooms.
Do you move furniture before cleaning?
For standard-sized items like coffee tables, dining chairs and armchairs, Matthew moves them as part of the clean. For large, heavy or fragile pieces (wardrobes, pianos), it helps to move them beforehand. Just let him know when you book.
