Upholstery cleaning FAQ

How long does upholstery cleaning take?
Most sofas and lounges take between 30 and 60 minutes. Larger sectionals or sets of chairs may take longer. We'll give you a realistic time estimate when you book.
Is the cleaning safe for all fabric types?
We assess the fabric type before cleaning and choose the appropriate method. We work with most common upholstery fabrics including microfibre, polyester, linen, cotton, and blends. We'll flag any fabrics that require special care before starting.
Can you remove pet odours from my lounge?
Yes. We use enzyme-based treatments specifically designed to neutralise pet odours at the molecular level rather than just masking them. Results are excellent in most cases, though heavily soaked fabric may require multiple treatments.
How long until the upholstery dries?
Upholstery typically takes 2–6 hours to dry depending on the fabric, humidity, and ventilation. We recommend keeping pets and children off cleaned furniture until fully dry.
Should I clean cushion covers separately?
We clean cushion covers as part of the overall piece — removing and hand-washing covers separately isn't necessary unless they're labelled as machine-washable and you prefer that approach. We'll clean them in situ for best results.
Do you do outdoor furniture?
Absolutely. Outdoor upholstery and cushions accumulate mould, mildew, sunscreen, and general grime. We use products suited to outdoor-grade fabrics that handle the Gold Coast's heat and humidity.
