These terms and conditions apply to the $5.95 introductory membership offer promoted by CBJ. By redeeming or purchasing the offer, you agree to the following conditions in addition to CBJ's standard membership terms and conditions.

$5.95 introductory offer — terms & conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to the $5.95 introductory membership offer (“Offer”) promoted by CBJ. By redeeming or purchasing the Offer, you agree to the following conditions in addition to CBJ's standard Membership Terms & Conditions.

1. Eligibility

  • 1.1 The Offer is available only on 12-month and 18-month direct debit memberships.
  • 1.2 The Offer is not available on casual passes, short-term passes, upfront memberships, or any other membership type.
  • 1.3 The Offer is available to new members only. Existing members, those with outstanding fees, or those who have held a membership within the past offer eligibility timeframe may be excluded.

2. Introductory Pricing

  • 2.1 Under this Offer, the weekly membership fee is $5.95 per week for the first four (4) weeks of the membership term.
  • 2.2 The $5.95 rate applies only during this introductory period and only to direct-debit memberships.

3. Standard Pricing After the Introductory Period

  • 3.1 After the initial four (4) weeks, the membership fee will automatically revert to the standard weekly debit rate applicable to the chosen membership type (12-month or 18-month).
  • 3.2 Standard rates may vary based on the membership selected and are outlined on the CBJ website or at reception.
  • 3.3 Normal billing cycles and payment terms will apply from Week 5 onwards.

4. Membership Term and Contract Requirements

  • 4.1 By activating the Offer, you agree to enter into a minimum-term direct debit agreement of either 12 or 18 months.
  • 4.2 All standard membership conditions — including minimum term, cancellation policy, early termination fees, suspension rules, and payment obligations — apply.

5. Billing and Direct Debit

  • 5.1 Membership payments must be made via direct debit from a bank account or approved payment card.
  • 5.2 Failed payments may incur additional fees as specified in CBJ's standard membership agreement.

6. Non-Transferability

  • 6.1 The Offer is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.
  • 6.2 The Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion, discount, or incentive unless expressly approved by CBJ.

7. Promotion Period

  • 7.1 CBJ reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the Offer at any time without prior notice.
  • 7.2 Members who have already redeemed the Offer will continue to receive the benefits outlined for the duration of the introductory period.

8. General

  • 8.1 All standard CBJ Membership Terms & Conditions apply and form part of this Offer.
  • 8.2 CBJ reserves the right to refuse membership activation under this Offer where necessary, including in cases of previous contract breaches or misuse of promotions.
