Quotes provided by My Brisbane Plumber are valid for 30 days. We’ll always confirm the quoted price in writing before commencing work, and we’ll only deviate if the scope materially changes — in which case we’ll stop, discuss the variation, and only proceed with your written approval.
Standard residential and commercial work is invoiced on completion, payable within 7 days by EFT, EFTPOS, or major credit card. Larger jobs may be subject to a deposit (typically 30%) at booking and the balance on completion. Late payments may incur interest at the rate set by the Queensland Industry Code.
All workmanship is guaranteed for a period of 6.5 years from the date of completion, covering labour and installation only. Hardware (taps, valves, hot water units, etc) is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty — we’ll register the unit on your behalf and provide registration paperwork on completion.
My Brisbane Plumber holds current QBCC plumbing and gas-fitting licences and is fully insured. Compliance certificates (Form 4 / Form 16) are issued where required by Queensland regulation, and copies are provided to you and lodged with the relevant authority.
Our liability for any work performed is limited to the cost of remedial work or the original invoice value, whichever is less, except where Australian Consumer Law provides otherwise. We carry public liability insurance and professional indemnity cover.
Bookings cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a call-out charge equivalent to 1 hour’s standard rate, to cover scheduling and travel costs.
Personal information you provide (name, phone, email, address, job details) is used solely to deliver the service you’ve booked, send invoices, follow up on warranty work, and contact you about service reminders. We do not on-sell your information. Full privacy practices available on request.
