Can MendMan fix a leaking tap?
Yes — leaking and dripping tap repairs are one of our most common minor plumbing calls. We replace washers, O-rings, and cartridges, and can also replace the entire tap if needed. Fixing a dripping tap promptly saves water and prevents rising water bills.
Do you replace shower heads?
Yes. Shower head replacement is a straightforward job we handle regularly. We can fit a customer-supplied unit or supply and fit a standard replacement. We also check the connection for leaks and re-seal as required.
What is silicone re-sealing and when is it needed?
Silicone re-sealing involves removing old, mouldy, or cracked sealant and applying fresh silicone around baths, showers, sinks, and benchtops. It's needed when the existing seal has broken down and is allowing water ingress that can cause tile, wall, and substrate damage.
