Do you offer regular garden maintenance or just one-off visits?
We do both. Many Brisbane homeowners book us on a regular schedule — fortnightly or monthly — so their garden stays looking its best year-round without them having to think about it. Others bring us in for a one-off tidy-up, a seasonal reset, or to rescue a garden that has gotten away from them. Whatever suits your garden and lifestyle, we will talk it through on site and recommend a rhythm that keeps your green space healthy and presentable without over-servicing it.
How do you charge for garden maintenance?
Every garden is different, so we price maintenance after seeing your space rather than quoting a flat rate over the phone. We look at the size of the garden, the plant palette, how established it is and how often you would like us to visit, then give you a clear quote before any work starts. For ongoing maintenance we can set a regular visit cost so you always know what to expect. We are happy to come out and provide a no-obligation quote so you can make an informed decision.
Which Brisbane suburbs do you cover for garden maintenance?
We maintain gardens right across greater Brisbane, from inner-city suburbs like Paddington, New Farm and Highgate Hill out to Ashgrove, Bardon, Ferny Hills and beyond. If you are in the Brisbane area, there is a very good chance we can help — and if you are not sure, just get in touch with your suburb and we will let you know straight away. We travel to you for every quote and every visit.
What happens to the green waste after a visit?
We use top-of-the-line equipment to leave a professional finish, and we remove all green waste at the end of every visit — so you are left with a tidy garden and nothing to deal with afterwards. The one exception is if you have the ability to compost on site and would like to keep the material; we are happy to work that way, and can even help you set up composting so your garden feeds itself. Just let us know your preference and we will plan around it.
Can you create a maintenance plan for my garden?
Yes. As well as the regular hands-on work, we can produce a written maintenance plan for your garden. It assesses the space, divides it into zones, gives cultivation notes for the plants you have, and sets out a timeline for tasks across the seasons. It is a genuinely useful document whether our team carries out the work or you do some of it yourself — it takes the guesswork out of keeping a garden healthy and makes sure nothing important gets missed.
Do you use chemical sprays in my garden?
Our approach is organic wherever possible. All our garden maintenance is carried out with organic techniques and remedies, which helps increase biodiversity and keeps the garden a safer space for children, pets and wildlife. We practise biological control — encouraging beneficial plants and insects to keep problems in check — and reach for organic sprays and treatments when something does need attention. If you have particular concerns about what goes into your garden, tell us and we will tailor our methods to suit.
How often should my garden be maintained?
It depends on the style and size of your garden, the plants in it, and how you like it to look. A established, low-maintenance garden might only need attention every month or so, while a lush or formal garden benefits from a more frequent visit to stay sharp. When we come out to quote, we will give you an honest recommendation based on what we see — enough to keep the garden thriving and presentable, without paying for visits you do not really need.
Do I need to be home when the team visits?
Not at all. Once we have agreed on the scope of work and have access to the garden, most of our regular maintenance clients are happy to leave us to it and come home to a freshly cared-for garden. If it is our first visit or there are specific things you would like us to focus on, it can help to be there at the start so we can walk the garden together — but day to day, we are glad to work around your schedule.
