Fundamental Motor Program

A structured school-based program developing gross motor skills in children with diverse learning needs.

About the Program

Motor Skills for Diverse Learners

The Fundamental Motor Program is based on fundamental movement skills involving a variety of gross motor movements. Gross motor skills enable children to move efficiently and in a coordinated manner — and are closely related to speech and fine motor development.

The program provides structured physical activity in a fun, motivating and positive environment. The overall objective is to increase fundamental motor development in children, with broader benefits for learning, communication and confidence.

This program is offered to schools. Please contact us for more information on how we can work with your school community.
