General Questions
Which Brisbane suburbs does EcoQuiet service?
We provide lawn and garden care across more than 50 suburbs in Brisbane's inner city and inner west — including Wilston, Ashgrove, Paddington, Bardon, Newmarket, Kelvin Grove, Toowong, Bulimba, Hamilton, Indooroopilly and many more. If you don't see your suburb listed, get in touch anyway, as we often take one-off jobs just outside our regular zone.
What are EcoQuiet's operating hours?
Our team works Monday to Thursday from 8 am to 5 pm and Friday from 8 am to 3 pm. We're also available on Saturdays by appointment, and we're closed on Sundays. Because our equipment is electric and quiet, we can comfortably work earlier or later in the day without disturbing your neighbours.
Is EcoQuiet insured?
Yes. EcoQuiet is fully insured, and our team members are Blue Card holders and police checked. We take the safety and security of your property and household seriously, and we're happy to confirm our insurance details when you book a job.
How do I get a quote from EcoQuiet?
Getting a quote is simple and free. Call us on 0414 684 781 or send an enquiry through our website with your address and a description of what you'd like done. For straightforward jobs we can often quote on the spot; for larger or more complex properties we'll arrange a short on-site visit so the quote is accurate. Either way, you'll get a clear, no-obligation price before any work starts.
How does payment work?
After the job is complete we send you a digital invoice with secure online payment, so there's no need to have cash on hand. Our pricing is transparent and agreed upfront, so the invoice always matches the quote you approved — no hidden fees or surprises.
Do you offer regular maintenance or one-off jobs?
Both. Many customers book us for regular scheduled visits — weekly, fortnightly or monthly — to keep their lawn and garden consistently neat. We also take one-off jobs such as garden clean-ups, pre-sale tidy-ups and pressure washing. You're welcome to start with a one-off job and move onto a regular schedule later.
What makes EcoQuiet different from other lawn and garden companies?
EcoQuiet runs entirely on 100% electric, zero-emission equipment, so our work is quieter and cleaner than traditional petrol-powered services. Beyond the equipment, we're a family-owned business focused on reliability, attention to detail and clear communication — we turn up when we say we will, quote transparently and keep you informed from booking through to invoice.
Do you service properties outside your standard areas?
Our regular service zone covers Brisbane's inner city and inner west, but we do cater to properties just outside that area for one-off jobs. If you're not sure whether we can reach you, simply call with your address and we'll let you know.
Lawn Care
How do you charge for lawn mowing in Brisbane?
Pricing depends on the size of your lawn, how often you'd like it maintained and how easy the site is to access. We give every customer a transparent, no-obligation quote before any work begins, and for regular customers we set a consistent ongoing rate so there are no surprises. The simplest way to get an accurate figure is a quick call or online enquiry — we can often quote straight away or arrange a short site check for larger properties.
Do you cover my suburb in Brisbane?
We service more than 50 suburbs across Brisbane's inner city and inner west, including Wilston, Ashgrove, Paddington, Bardon, Newmarket, Kelvin Grove and many more. If your suburb isn't on our regular list we can still often help with one-off jobs, so it's always worth asking. Give us a call with your address and we'll confirm coverage and the next available slot.
How often should my lawn be mowed?
Most Brisbane lawns look their best with a mow every one to two weeks through the warmer growing months, easing back to every three or four weeks over winter. The right interval depends on your grass type, how much sun and water the lawn gets, and how sharp you like it kept. We're happy to recommend a schedule for your lawn and set up a regular booking so it never gets away from you.
Are your mowers really quieter than petrol ones?
Yes. We use 100% electric, professional-grade equipment which runs noticeably quieter than traditional petrol mowers and produces no exhaust emissions. That means we can work earlier or later in the day without disturbing your household or neighbours, and there's no fumes drifting across the yard while we mow.
Can you handle acreage or larger blocks?
We do. Alongside standard residential mowing we offer acreage and ride-on mowing for larger blocks. Because every large property is different, we'll usually arrange a quick site visit so we can assess access, terrain and the scope of work before providing a clear quote.
Do I need to be home when you mow?
Not at all. Once we've quoted the job and you're happy to proceed, most customers simply leave us to it. As long as we have safe access to the lawn areas we can complete the work while you're out, and we'll let you know when we're done. For the first visit it can help to be available so we can confirm exactly what you'd like done.
Is your team fully insured?
Yes — EcoQuiet is fully insured and our team members are Blue Card holders and police checked. We take the safety and security of your property seriously, and we're happy to confirm our insurance details when you book.
How do I set up a regular mowing service?
It's easy — call us on 0414 684 781 or send an online enquiry with your address and what you'd like done. We'll provide a quote, agree on a schedule that suits you, and then handle the rest. You'll get reminders before each visit and a clear invoice afterwards.
Garden Maintenance
What's included in a garden maintenance visit?
A typical garden maintenance visit can include trimming and pruning, hedge trimming, weeding, leaf blowing and a general tidy-up of garden beds and surrounds. We tailor every visit to your property and what you'd like prioritised, so you can keep it simple with a regular tidy or have us tackle a specific list of tasks. We'll confirm the scope with you before we start.
Do you do one-off garden clean-ups or only regular maintenance?
Both. We're happy to take on one-off garden clean-ups — for example when a garden has gotten away from you — as well as ongoing scheduled maintenance to keep things consistently neat. Many customers start with a clean-up and then move onto a regular visit once the garden is back under control.
Can you help prepare a property for sale or end of lease?
Yes. We offer pre-sale and end-of-lease gardening designed to get a property presenting at its best for inspections or handover. That can include a full tidy, hedge and shrub shaping, weeding, edging and green waste removal. Let us know your timeframe and we'll work back from your inspection or handover date.
Do you remove the green waste you generate?
We do. Green waste removal is part of our service, so the clippings, prunings and other garden waste from the job are taken away and you're left with a clean, finished result. If you have existing piles of green waste on site, just mention it when you book so we can allow for it in the quote.
How do you price hedge trimming and pruning?
Hedge trimming and pruning are quoted based on the size and number of hedges or plants, their height, and how much growth needs to come off. Taller hedges or heavily overgrown gardens take more time and care, so we'll either quote from a few photos and a description or arrange a short site visit for larger jobs. You'll always have a clear price before we begin.
Do you service strata and body-corporate gardens?
Yes — we maintain communal lawns and gardens for strata complexes, body-corporate properties and commercial sites across Brisbane. We can set up a regular maintenance schedule that keeps shared areas consistently presentable, and provide clear quoting and invoicing suited to property managers and committees.
How long does a typical garden tidy take?
It depends entirely on the size of the garden and how much work is needed. A routine maintenance visit on an average suburban property is usually completed within a few hours, while a larger clean-up of an overgrown garden can take a full day or more. When we quote, we'll give you a realistic idea of how long your job will take.
Exterior Cleaning
What surfaces can you pressure wash?
We pressure wash a range of exterior hard surfaces including driveways, patios, exterior stairs, pathways and exterior walls. Pressure washing is a great way to lift built-up dirt, grime and moss and instantly freshen up the look of a property. Let us know which areas you'd like done and we'll include them in your quote.
How is pressure washing priced?
Pressure washing is quoted based on the size of the area, the type of surface and how heavily soiled it is. A lightly dusty path is quicker than a driveway with years of built-up grime, so the fairest way to price it is from a description and a few photos, or a quick look on site for larger jobs. You'll receive a clear, no-obligation quote before we start.
Do you clean gutters as well?
Yes, gutter cleaning is one of our exterior services. Keeping gutters clear of leaves and debris helps rainwater drain properly and protects your home, especially heading into Brisbane's storm season. We can do this as a one-off or build it into a regular maintenance schedule.
Will pressure washing damage my paths or render?
When done correctly, pressure washing is safe for most exterior surfaces. Our team adjusts the technique and pressure to suit the surface being cleaned, taking extra care around softer materials and rendered walls. If we have any concerns about a particular surface, we'll talk it through with you before proceeding.
Do you do general yard clean-ups and green waste removal?
We do. Alongside pressure washing and gutter cleaning we handle general yard clean-ups and green waste removal — clearing debris, tidying up the property and taking the waste away. It's a popular option before an event, an inspection or simply to reset a yard that's become cluttered.
Do I need to supply water or power for the job?
In most cases we just need access to a standard outdoor tap and power point, and we'll bring the rest. If you're unsure about access at your property, mention it when you book and we'll let you know exactly what's needed so there are no surprises on the day.
How soon can you come out?
Availability varies with the time of year and how busy we are, but we always aim to get to you as promptly as possible. The quickest way to find out the next available slot is to call us on 0414 684 781 or send an online enquiry — we'll let you know our soonest opening when we confirm your quote.
