How does hot-water extraction carpet cleaning work?
Hot-water extraction — often called steam cleaning — sprays a heated cleaning solution deep into the carpet pile and then immediately extracts it along with the loosened dirt and moisture. It's the method most carpet manufacturers recommend because it cleans below the surface rather than just freshening the top, and it leaves carpets only lightly damp rather than wet through.
How long will my carpets take to dry?
Most carpets are touch-dry within a few hours and fully dry within around half a day, depending on the weather, airflow and how heavy the carpet is. We extract as much moisture as possible on the day, and opening windows or running fans helps speed things along.
Can you remove old or set-in stains?
We treat every stain we can and get excellent results on most common marks. Some very old or set-in stains, dye-based spills or damage to the carpet fibres themselves may not lift completely, but we'll always tell you honestly what to expect before we start rather than promise a miracle.
Do you move furniture?
We can move lighter items like dining chairs and small tables to clean underneath. For heavier pieces we generally clean around them, or you're welcome to clear the room beforehand if you'd like every inch done. Just let us know what you need when you book.
Is the cleaning safe for kids and pets?
Yes. We use cleaning products suited to the job and extract thoroughly so very little residue is left behind. Once the carpet is dry it's perfectly safe for children and pets to use as normal.
How often should carpets be professionally cleaned?
For most homes, a professional clean every 12 months keeps carpets healthy and looking their best, while busy households with kids or pets often benefit from every six months. Rentals are usually done at the end of a lease.
Do you clean carpets for end-of-lease moves?
Absolutely — carpet cleaning is a common part of an end-of-lease move-out, and we can clean carpets on their own or as part of a full bond clean. Let us know it's for a lease return so we can make sure the finish meets agent expectations.
