Tile & Grout Cleaning

Tile & Grout Cleaning
Sunshine Coast

Rotary pressure cleaning that strips years of grime from tiles and restores grout lines — kitchens, bathrooms, patios and more across the Sunshine Coast.

Restore Your Tiles to Like-New Condition

Tiles look great when they're new, but grout lines are porous — they trap dirt, mould and soap scum that regular mopping simply can't touch. Over time even light-coloured grout turns dark grey, and no amount of scrubbing by hand makes a lasting difference.

Corey uses rotary pressure cleaning equipment to blast embedded grime from tile surfaces and grout lines at high pressure, then extracts the dirty water away — leaving tiles bright and grout restored without damaging the surface. It's the same deep-clean approach applied to carpet, adapted for hard floors.

FAQ

Tile & Grout Cleaning Questions

How does rotary tile cleaning differ from mopping?
Mopping moves surface dirt around but can't penetrate grout lines or lift embedded stains. Rotary pressure cleaning uses high-pressure water to blast deep into the tile surface and grout, then immediately extracts the loosened grime and dirty water — leaving the surface genuinely clean, not just damp.
Is high-pressure cleaning safe for all tile types?
Rotary tile cleaning is safe for ceramic, porcelain and most stone tiles. Softer stones like marble or travertine may require a lower-pressure approach. Corey will assess the tile type before starting to ensure the right method and pressure are used for your specific surface.
How long does tile and grout cleaning take?
A typical kitchen or bathroom (20–40 square metres) takes 1–2 hours. Larger areas like whole-house tile floors or outdoor entertaining areas take longer. Corey will give you a time estimate at booking based on the square metreage and condition of the tiles.
Can you clean outdoor tiles and pool surrounds?
Yes — outdoor areas are a great candidate for tile cleaning. Pool surrounds, alfresco floors, driveways and tiled patios respond very well to high-pressure rotary cleaning. Salt, algae, sunscreen and general outdoor grime are all effectively removed.
What is grout sealing and should I get it done?
Grout sealing applies a protective coating to freshly cleaned grout lines, reducing their porosity so future dirt and stains are easier to clean off. It's recommended after a deep clean — particularly in kitchens, shower recesses and outdoor areas exposed to moisture. Ask Corey about combining cleaning and sealing in one visit.
Can tile cleaning be combined with carpet or bond cleaning?
Absolutely — many clients book tile cleaning alongside carpet cleaning or as part of a full end-of-lease clean. Corey can cover multiple services in a single visit, which reduces the disruption and often works out more cost-effective than separate bookings.
How long after cleaning before I can walk on the tiles?
Tiles are usually dry and safe to walk on within 30–60 minutes of cleaning under normal Sunshine Coast conditions. If grout sealing is applied, a longer curing time (a few hours) is recommended before the surface gets wet again.
