What plastering services do you provide?
We specialise in plastering repairs rather than full new plaster installation. This includes gyprock patching (holes from pipes, cabling or damage), cornice repairs, cracked ceiling and wall repairs, skim coat finishing over rough surfaces, and texture matching to blend repairs with the existing wall or ceiling finish.
Can you match the existing texture on my walls or ceiling?
Texture matching is one of the most skilled aspects of plastering repair, and it's something we take seriously. We assess the existing texture — whether it's a smooth finish, fine sand, medium sand or a more distinctive pattern — and replicate it as closely as possible so repairs are undetectable once painted.
Do you repair cracks in walls and ceilings?
Yes. Cracks in plasterboard walls and ceilings are very common in Queensland homes, particularly in new estates where the ground settles. We assess whether cracks are cosmetic or structural, repair the plasterboard and joint compound correctly, and feather the finish ready for painting.
Can you repair cornice that has cracked or come away from the wall?
Yes. Cornice separation and cracking is a common maintenance issue. We reattach loose cornice, fill hairline cracks with appropriate compound, and sand and prime ready for painting. For badly damaged sections we can replace the cornice run to match the existing profile.
Do I need to arrange my own painter after plastering repairs?
Our plastering repairs are delivered primed and ready for paint. We don't provide painting services, so you'll need to arrange a painter separately for the final coat. We can recommend local painters we've worked alongside if helpful.
How soon can you complete a plastering repair?
