Loose rugs are very different to fitted carpet — different fibres, different backings, more delicate edges, and often a lot of sentimental value. Rugs benefit from a slower, gentler clean than a standard carpet steam.
We pre-inspect fibre type, run a colour-fast test, then move to a hot-water extraction using low pressure that protects the rug's structure. Stained areas get pre-treated, and we finish with grooming so the pile sits properly.

How it works on the Sunshine Coast
We turn up on time, every time — Mon to Sat, 8am to 5pm. Chris or one of the senior technicians (Nathan or Josh) will walk you through what we're doing, pre-inspect your fibres or surfaces, run colour-fast testing where relevant, then get to work. Most jobs are done in a few hours and we leave the area dry, deodorised and groomed.
Servicing the entire Sunshine Coast — Sunshine Coast, Caloundra, Caloundra West, Baringa, Maroochydore, Mooloolaba and every suburb in between.
Common questions, answered.
How do you price rug cleaning?+
Rugs are priced based on size and fibre type. Small entry rugs are flat-rated, larger area rugs are quoted by area. We give you a fixed-price obligation-free quote — what we quote is what you pay. The quickest way to get an accurate quote is to call or send a photo through the form with rough dimensions.
Are you safe on wool and hand-knotted rugs?+
Yes — wool and hand-knotted rugs are where the colour-fast testing matters most, and we always test before any cleaning agent touches the rug. We use low-pressure hot-water extraction rather than aggressive steam, which protects natural fibres.
Can you get pet stains out of a rug?+
In most cases yes, depending on how long the stain has been there and whether it's reached the backing. We use deodorising treatments alongside the extraction to address smell, not just the visible mark. We'll always tell you honestly what we can and can't shift.
How long does rug cleaning take to dry?+
Most rugs are dry within a few hours thanks to the truck-mounted suction. Thicker rugs or wool rugs can take longer — we'd suggest leaving them rolled-back overnight where possible.
Do you clean rugs in-home or pick them up?+
We clean rugs in-home on the Sunshine Coast — same system, same result, no transport stress. If for any reason the rug needs deeper restoration, we'll let you know.
How often should rugs be professionally cleaned?+
For high-traffic rugs, every 12 months keeps them looking sharp. Lower-traffic decorative rugs can stretch to 18 to 24 months. Rugs in pet households benefit from every 6 to 12 months.
Can rug edges fray during cleaning?+
Not when done properly — that's why we use low-pressure extraction and brush agitation, not high-PSI scrubbing. Old, already-deteriorated rugs we'll always assess and warn you about before starting.
Is the rug clean guaranteed?+
Yes — all our work is fully insured and guaranteed. If you're not happy with the result, call us and we'll address it.
