End-of-lease cleaning shouldn't be the reason you don't get your bond back. PAQ runs every exit clean against the standards property managers actually check — so the keys go back, the report comes back clean, and the bond comes home.

How PAQ Does It
- Real estate-grade checklist: every job runs against the same list the property manager will use, so nothing gets missed.
- Re-clean cover: if the property manager flags something, we come back and address it.
- Pet-friendly: extra time built in for pet-related cleaning (paw prints, hair, the bowl area) at no surprise cost.
- Add-on carpet steam: bookable as part of the same visit when the lease requires it.
Common Questions
Do you guarantee the bond back?
We can't guarantee the property manager's behaviour, but every PAQ exit clean is done to the standard real estate inspections measure against. If something specific is flagged after the clean, we'll come back to address it. That's why we run a full pre-clean checklist with you — so we know exactly which line items have to be perfect for your particular property and lease type.
How long does a bond clean take?
A standard 2-bedroom apartment usually takes one PAQ cleaner four to six hours, or two of us about three. Larger houses with garages, outdoor areas or yards take longer, and any add-ons like carpet steam stretch the day a little further. We'll give you a realistic time estimate with your quote so you can plan handover with the agent.
How is the bond clean priced?
Bond cleans are quoted per property rather than per hour — that way the price you're quoted is the price you pay regardless of how long it actually takes. The quote depends on bedrooms, bathrooms, condition of the property, whether carpets are included, and any add-ons. Free quote turnaround is usually the same day you ask.
Do I need to be there during the clean?
No. Most exit cleans happen after you've already moved out — you're not living there anymore by definition. We just need a way to access the property (key handover, code, or letting agents) and we'll lock up when we're done and confirm completion by text.
Can you do carpet steam at the same visit?
Yes — carpet steam cleaning is a common add-on for bond cleans because most leases require professional carpet cleaning at exit. Mention it when you book and we'll quote it as part of the package, so you only deal with one provider and one invoice for the whole exit.
How early do I need to book a bond clean?
Two weeks ahead is the comfortable lead time, especially around end-of-month when exit dates cluster. Same-week bookings are sometimes possible depending on the calendar — message us with your exit date and suburb and we'll tell you straight what's available.
What if the property manager isn't happy?
We address it. Re-cleans on properly-booked PAQ bond cleans are covered, provided the property condition at handover matched what we quoted on. The bigger thing is the quoting conversation — that's where we set realistic expectations for both sides so there are no surprises at inspection.
Can you clean if the property is still partly furnished?
Yes, but a 'furnished bond clean' is a different quote because we're working around objects rather than across empty floors. Let us know what's still on-site when you ask for the quote and we'll factor it in. Furniture removal is not part of the service.
