POE stands for Power over Ethernet — the camera receives both its power and its data through a single network cable, rather than needing a separate power supply at each camera. It makes for a cleaner, more reliable installation and is well suited to permanent CCTV setups. We can advise whether POE cameras are the right choice for your property and design the cabling layout to give you the coverage you want.
Will the cameras let me view footage remotely?
Most modern CCTV and POE systems we install can be set up for remote viewing, so you can check in on your property from a phone or other device. The exact features depend on the equipment chosen. When we scope your system we'll talk through how you'd like to access footage and recommend gear that supports it, then make sure it's configured properly before we finish the job.
