Niche Reform was founded in 2013 by Jonathon and Jessica Grealy. We've been serving Brisbane's inner west for over a decade, building a reputation for quality work and honest service.
We're based in Paddington, Brisbane. We primarily service Brisbane's inner west including Paddington, Ashgrove, Bardon, Toowong, Red Hill, Milton, Kelvin Grove, Auchenflower, and The Gap. Contact us if you're outside this area — we may be able to assist depending on project size.
You'll deal directly with Jonathon Grealy from your initial consultation through to project completion. We keep our team small and focused so there's always a clear point of accountability — you won't be handed off to a project manager you've never met.

Yes — all quotes are completely free and obligation-free. We visit your site, assess the scope, and provide a clear written quote with itemised costs. No vague estimates, no surprises.
We accept bank transfer and major credit cards. Payment terms are outlined in your written quote. We typically require a deposit to secure your start date, with the balance payable on completion.
Yes, always. Every project gets a written, itemised quote before any work begins. This protects both parties and ensures there are no misunderstandings about scope, materials, or cost.
Some structures require council approval in Brisbane — pergolas over certain dimensions, retaining walls above 1m, and pools. As a QBCC licensed contractor, we help you understand what's needed before work begins and can guide you through the application process.
Brisbane's mild winters (June–August) are ideal for planting, turf laying, and most construction work — cooler temperatures reduce plant stress and make groundwork more comfortable. That said, we work year-round and can advise on timing based on your specific project and plant selection.
Yes. All structural work is covered by statutory warranties under the Queensland Building and Construction Commission Act. Beyond the legal minimum, we stand behind our workmanship — if something isn't right after handover, contact us and we'll address it.
In some cases, yes. We'll discuss this during the quoting phase. Keep in mind that when we supply materials we take responsibility for quality and suitability — if you supply materials and there's an issue, the liability shifts accordingly. We'll be upfront about this in your quote.
