Frequently asked questions

Everything you might want to know before booking a clean with Everest Pro Cleaning.

General questions
Which suburbs does Everest Pro Cleaning cover?
We are based in Lutwyche and clean homes across Brisbane's inner north, including Wilston, Windsor, Newmarket, Grange, Wooloowin, Kedron, Albion, Clayfield and Stafford. If your suburb is nearby but not listed, it is still worth getting in touch — we will always tell you honestly whether we can reach you. Let us know your location and what you need and we will confirm availability.
What are your hours and how flexible is scheduling?
We work seven days a week and aim to be flexible around your schedule, whether you need a weekday clean while you are at work or a weekend booking. The best thing to do is contact us with the days and times that suit you and we will find a slot that works. For regular cleans we can lock in an ongoing recurring time so you never have to think about it.
How does your pricing work?
Every home is different, so we price each clean on its size, the rooms involved and the type of service — a regular clean, a one-off deep clean, a bond clean or carpet cleaning. Rather than quote blind, we talk through what you need and give you a clear price before any work begins, so you always know what to expect. There are no hidden extras added afterwards.
Do I get a fixed price before you start?
Yes. We confirm a clear price with you before the clean begins, so you know exactly what you are paying and what is included. If anything about the job changes once we are there, we will talk to you about it first rather than surprising you afterwards. Honest, upfront communication is a big part of why our customers rate us so highly.
Do you bring your own equipment and cleaning products?
Yes, our team arrives ready to work with the equipment and supplies needed for the job. If you would prefer we use particular products — for allergies, sensitive surfaces or personal preference — just let us know when you book and we are happy to accommodate. We want the clean to suit your home and your household.
What if something is not cleaned to my satisfaction?
We do a walkthrough before we leave so you can check the result while we are still there. If something has been missed or an area is not up to standard, tell us and we will put it right. We would always rather fix something than leave a customer unhappy — it is how we have built a 5.0 rating across 22 Google reviews.
How do I book a clean?
Booking is simple. Call us on 0451 903 803 or send an enquiry through the contact form on this site with your suburb, the type of clean you need and your preferred dates. We will get back to you to confirm a time and a clear price. For regular cleans we can set up an ongoing recurring booking so it is one less thing to organise.
House cleaning
Do you cover Lutwyche and the surrounding inner-north suburbs?
Yes. Everest Pro Cleaning is based in Lutwyche and we clean homes across Brisbane's inner north, including Wilston, Windsor, Newmarket, Grange, Wooloowin, Kedron, Albion, Clayfield and Stafford. When you get in touch, let us know your suburb and the size of your home and we will confirm availability and arrange a time that suits you. If you are just outside these areas it is still worth asking — we will always tell you honestly whether we can help.
How does pricing for a house clean work?
Pricing depends on the size of your home, how many rooms are involved and whether it is a regular or one-off clean. Rather than quote a figure sight unseen, we talk through what you need and give you a clear price before any cleaning starts, so there are no surprises. Regular ongoing cleans are usually quoted differently to a one-off deep clean, and we are happy to explain the difference when you call.
Do I need to be home while you clean?
Not at all. Many of our customers are at work or out running errands while we clean, and others prefer to be home — both are completely fine. If you will be out, we will arrange access details with you beforehand. If you are home, you are welcome to point out anything you would like us to pay extra attention to before we get started.
What is the difference between a regular clean and a one-off clean?
A regular clean is an ongoing service — weekly, fortnightly or monthly — that keeps your home consistently tidy and is usually quicker because the home is maintained. A one-off clean is a single, more detailed visit, often booked before guests arrive, after a party, or for a seasonal refresh. When you contact us, tell us which you are after and we will recommend the right option.
Do you bring your own cleaning supplies and equipment?
Yes, our team arrives ready to work with the supplies and equipment needed for a standard house clean. If you have particular products you would prefer we use — for sensitivities, surfaces or personal preference — just let us know when you book and we will happily work with them. We want the clean to suit your home and your household.
How far in advance should I book?
It depends on the time of year and how busy the schedule is, so the honest answer is the sooner the better. For a regular ongoing clean we can usually lock in a recurring slot quickly. For one-off cleans around busy periods it helps to give us a few days' notice. Get in touch with your preferred dates and we will do our best to fit you in.
What happens if I am not happy with part of the clean?
We want you genuinely happy with the result, which is why we do a walkthrough before leaving. If something has been missed or you are not satisfied with an area, tell us — during the walkthrough or shortly after — and we will put it right. Clear, honest communication is how we have earned a 5.0 rating across our Google reviews, and we would rather fix something than leave you disappointed.
Bond cleaning
What does a bond clean include?
A bond clean is a detailed end-of-lease clean that goes well beyond a regular tidy. It covers the areas property managers inspect closely — ovens, cooktops and rangehoods, inside cupboards and drawers, bathrooms and tiles, skirting boards, door frames and floors. When you book, tell us about your property and anything specific in your lease so we can make sure the clean matches what is expected.
Will a bond clean help me get my bond back?
A thorough bond clean gives you the best possible chance, because we clean to the standard property managers look for at the final inspection. We cannot speak for your agent's decision, as that can also depend on wear and tear and other lease conditions, but a detailed, methodical clean removes cleaning from the list of reasons a bond might be held. We are always honest with you about what we can and cannot influence.
How is bond cleaning priced?
Bond cleans are priced on the size and condition of the property and whether extras like carpet cleaning are included. Because an end-of-lease clean is more detailed than a regular clean, it is quoted separately. We will talk through your property, give you a clear price up front, and confirm exactly what is covered before we start so there are no surprises on moving day.
How long does an end-of-lease clean take?
It depends on the size of the home and its condition when we arrive. A small unit takes far less time than a large house that has not been cleaned in a while. When you contact us we will give you a realistic estimate for your property so you can plan your moving day around it. We focus on doing the job thoroughly rather than rushing it.
Do I need to be there on the day?
No, you do not need to be present for a bond clean — in fact many customers are busy with the move itself. We will simply arrange access with you beforehand. If you would like to do a walkthrough at the end you are very welcome to, and we are happy to talk you through what we have done before you hand the keys back.
Should I book the clean before or after my furniture is out?
A bond clean works best once the property is empty, because we can reach every surface, cupboard and corner without furniture in the way. We recommend booking the clean for after your removalists have finished. Let us know your moving timeline when you get in touch and we will line the clean up so it fits neatly into your handover schedule.
Can you clean the carpets as part of a bond clean?
Yes. Carpet cleaning is a popular add-on to our bond cleans, and many leases expect carpets to be professionally cleaned at the end of a tenancy. We can include a deep carpet clean alongside the bond clean so everything is handled in one booking. Mention it when you contact us and we will include it in your quote.
Carpet cleaning
How does carpet cleaning pricing work?
Carpet cleaning is priced on the number of rooms or the area to be cleaned, and whether it is part of a larger booking such as a bond clean. We will ask which rooms you want done and give you a clear price before we start. Booking carpet cleaning together with a house or bond clean is often the most convenient option, and we are happy to explain how that works.
How long do carpets take to dry?
Drying time varies with the weather, ventilation and how heavily soiled the carpet was. As a general guide, carpets are usually touch-dry within a few hours and fully dry later the same day, especially with good airflow. We will give you practical advice on the day — such as opening windows or running fans — to help your carpets dry as quickly as possible.
Can you remove stains and high-traffic marks?
We treat visible marks and the grey, worn paths that build up in high-traffic areas, and in most cases carpets come up looking noticeably fresher. Some older or set-in stains may not lift completely, and we will always be honest with you about what to realistically expect rather than over-promising. Our goal is a genuine improvement you can see, not an unrealistic guarantee.
Do you clean carpets as part of a bond clean?
Yes. Carpet cleaning is one of the most common add-ons to our bond cleans, since many leases require carpets to be professionally cleaned before you move out. We can handle the bond clean and the carpets in a single booking so it is one less thing to coordinate. Just mention it when you get in touch and we will include it in your quote.
How often should carpets be professionally cleaned?
For most homes, a professional carpet clean every six to twelve months keeps carpets looking good and helps them last longer. Homes with pets, children or heavy foot traffic may benefit from cleaning more often. When we visit we are happy to give you honest advice on a sensible schedule for your particular home rather than pushing unnecessary visits.
Do I need to move furniture before you arrive?
It helps if smaller items and clutter are cleared from the carpet so we can clean the full area. We can move lighter furniture where it is practical and safe to do so, but we ask that heavy or fragile pieces are moved beforehand. Let us know your situation when you book and we will tell you exactly what to expect on the day.
Which suburbs do you cover for carpet cleaning?
We clean carpets across Brisbane's inner north from our base in Lutwyche, including Wilston, Windsor, Newmarket, Grange, Wooloowin, Kedron, Albion, Clayfield and Stafford. If you are nearby but not on that list, get in touch anyway and we will let you know honestly whether we can reach you.
