How it works

Call us on (07) 3523 5868 or send through the contact form. We'll either price the job over the phone (if it's a known scope) or come out for a short site visit if it's the kind of job where the price depends on what we find behind the wall. Either way, you get a written quote before we start, and a fixed price you can hold us to.

Once you sign off, we book a time, turn up when we said we'd turn up, and finish the work in one visit where we possibly can. You get the Certificate of Electrical Safety on the day where the job needs one — that's a Queensland legislative requirement for most fixed-wiring work and we don't muck around with it.

Common questions

Ceiling Fan Installation — the questions people ask first.

How much does ceiling fan installation cost?

Pricing is quoted job-by-job. We give you a fixed price up front for the scope you describe — no hourly meter running. For diagnostic work that needs an electrician on site to assess, there's an attendance fee that's deducted from the job if you go ahead. Call (07) 3523 5868 or send through the contact form and we'll come back with a written number you can hold us to.

How quickly can you book me in?

Most jobs across Paddington and greater Brisbane book within 24 to 48 hours. For genuine electrical emergencies — power out, exposed wiring, anything sparking or smoking — we keep capacity in the daily run for same-day callouts. Out of hours, our emergency line picks up around the clock.

Do you cover Paddington and the rest of Brisbane?

Yes. Paddington is our home base and we run jobs across the inner-west suburbs (Bardon, Toowong, Ashgrove, The Gap, Auchenflower, Indooroopilly, Chapel Hill), the CBD fringe (Spring Hill, New Farm, Fortitude Valley, Teneriffe, Bulimba, Hawthorne) and through to the south side and inner-north. If you're not sure whether your address is in our run, give us a call and we'll let you know on the spot.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. We hold a current Queensland electrical contractor's licence (#80068) and full public liability insurance. Every job carries a Certificate of Electrical Safety where the work needs one — that's a non-negotiable for us, and it's a paper trail you keep for any future buyer, agent or insurer who asks.

What payment methods do you accept?

Cash, EFT and all major credit and debit cards on the day. For bigger projects (rewires, switchboard upgrades, EV chargers, commercial fit-outs) we typically invoice with a scheduled progress draw, and we're set up for direct deposit and accounts on a 7-day terms basis. We don't ask for full payment up front on residential work.

What kind of warranty comes with the work?

All workmanship is backed for a minimum of 12 months from the date of completion. Manufacturer warranties on supplied gear (switches, fans, fixtures, AC units, EV chargers, etc.) are passed straight through — usually 1 to 5 years depending on the brand. If something we installed fails inside the warranty window, we come back and put it right at no charge.
