A Paddington-based electrical contracting business with licensed sparkies, stocked vans and a single rule: when we say we'll be there, we're there.
There are roughly 1,800 electrical contractors registered in Queensland. The good ones share three things in common — they answer the phone, they quote in writing, and they actually turn up at the time they told you they'd be there. Dr Electrician Brisbane was built around being one of those.
The day-to-day is split between residential work — switchboard upgrades, smoke alarms, ceiling fans, EV chargers, lighting refits — and commercial maintenance for cafes, offices and small light-industrial sites. About a third of our work is genuine emergency callouts: power dropping out at 2am, exposed wiring after a renovation gone sideways, board that's tripped and won't reset. Those don't book a week ahead, so we don't run that way.
Every job that touches fixed wiring gets a Certificate of Electrical Safety. Every quote is fixed-price before we start. Every workmanship issue inside 12 months is on us, no questions. That's the bar.
The home base is Paddington, so the inner-west suburbs (Bardon, Toowong, Ashgrove, The Gap, Auchenflower, Indooroopilly, Kenmore, Chapel Hill, Fig Tree Pocket) are our daily run. We push into the CBD and inner-north (Spring Hill, New Farm, Fortitude Valley, Teneriffe, Bulimba, Hawthorne) and into West End / South Brisbane / Highgate Hill on the south side. Outside the inner ring, give us a call.
