General questions
Do you cover my Brisbane Northside suburb?
We cover the full Brisbane Northside corridor — Aspley, Albany Creek, Strathpine, Carseldine, Chermside, Eatons Hill, Everton Park, Ferny Hills, Stafford, Boondall, Kedron and the surrounding suburbs. If you're north of the river and outside this list, give us a call on 0408 793 568 — most jobs are still in range, and we'll let you know straight up if it doesn't fit our patch.
How does pricing work?
Most pest sprays are flat-priced and listed on each service page so there are no surprises on the day. For combo inspections, termite barriers and out-of-area jobs we book a free onsite measure and provide a written no-obligation quote before any work starts.
Are your treatments safe for kids and pets?
Yes — once dry. The products we use are registered for residential pest control by the APVMA and become safe to walk on once the spray has dried, which is usually a couple of hours indoors and around 30 minutes outside on a dry day. We'll talk through the specific timing for your job when we book the visit.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — QBCC Licence 1537 3147 and Queensland Pest Management Technician Licence 1002 120 612, both held by Damien personally. The business carries full public liability insurance and is a Termidor Accredited Applicator. Every job ships with a written tax invoice and licence details for your records.
How do I pay?
Payment is taken on the day, after the work is finished. Card, EFTPOS and bank transfer all accepted. A tax invoice is issued for every job — useful for end-of-lease bond evidence and rental property tax records.
Do you do contracts or subscription plans?
No. We don't lock anyone into a contract and we don't push subscription plans. Most homes book a Complete Pest Spray annually because it's what keeps general pests down — but it's a fresh decision every year, not a rolling charge.
Who actually does the work?
Damien — the owner. Every single job. No subcontractors, no rotating apprentices, no junior technician with a clipboard. The same person who quotes the job is the person who turns up to do it.
About specific pests
How quickly will the cockroaches die after a spray?
You'll usually see roach activity start to drop within a few hours, with a noticeable spike over the first 24 hours as hidden roaches come out from cover to find water. Most homes are clear of visible roach activity within a week of treatment. The residual chemistry then keeps working for several weeks to catch any that hatch from existing eggs.
Why are funnel ants only a backyard problem?
Funnel ants live in soil — they're a lawn pest, not an indoor pest. They build the small dirt mounds across the grass and don't normally come inside the house. Treatment is a full blanket spray across the lawn surface, and most lawns recover their look within a few weeks of a single treatment.
Do I need a termite inspection if I haven't seen any termites?
Yes — annually is the standard recommendation for the Brisbane Northside, where termite pressure is high year-round. By the time termites are visible, they've often already been in the timbers for months or years. The annual inspection catches activity early when remediation costs are much lower than after structural damage has occurred.
What's the difference between a termite barrier and a spray?
A termite barrier is a long-term preventative — chemistry installed in the soil around the perimeter of your home that termites can't cross. A pest spray treats the pests that are already inside or around the building. The two are completely different jobs and most homes need both.
Will rodent baiting keep working after you leave?
Yes. The bait stations we install are lockable, weatherproof and designed to keep delivering bait for months. We'll also advise on the entry points around the building that should be sealed to stop new rodents coming in — that's how you turn a one-off treatment into a long-term fix.

What's an AS 3660.2 inspection?
AS 3660.2 is the Australian Standard that defines what a residential termite inspection has to cover — every accessible timber, the subfloor, the roof void, the external perimeter and the moisture conditions around the property. Our inspections meet AS 3660.2 and ship with a full written report and photos by email.
How long does a Termidor barrier last?
Termidor's manufacturer warranty for a chemical termite barrier in residential soil applications is typically eight years, depending on soil conditions and the installation. We walk through the warranty paperwork on the day of the install and what's required to keep the warranty current — usually just the annual termite inspection.
Do I need to be home for the inspection?
Yes — someone over 18 needs to be home for the technician to access the roof manhole and any subfloor access points. The inspection itself takes one to two hours depending on the property, and you'll usually receive the written report inside 24 hours of the visit.
What if you find live termites?
If we find active termites during an inspection, we stop and walk you through exactly what we're seeing, where the activity is, and what the options are — bait stations, direct chemical treatment, or barrier installation. Live termites are a same-day priority for us — call the main number and we'll prioritise the visit.
End of lease
Will my real-estate agent accept your invoice?
Yes — we issue a real-estate-compliant tax invoice with our licence numbers, ABN, the date the spray was done, the property address and the chemicals applied. Every Brisbane real-estate agent we work with accepts our paperwork for bond hand-back evidence.
When in the move-out process should I book the spray?
Schedule the spray for after the removalists are out so the floors and skirtings are clear when we treat. We coordinate the timing with you on booking — most end-of-lease sprays are done the same day the removalist finishes or the morning after.
Do you do a flea treatment as part of end of lease?
Yes — most lease agreements require a flea treatment specifically if pets have been on the property. We bundle it into the end-of-lease spray when it's needed. Mention it when you book and we'll quote the bundle on the day.
