General questions

What areas does B Complete Tiling cover?
We're based in Brisbane and tile right across the city and surrounding suburbs — including Paddington, Milton, Toowong, Bardon, Ashgrove, Red Hill, Auchenflower and the Brisbane CBD — as well as the Gold Coast. If you're not sure whether we reach your area, send through your suburb with the quote form and we'll let you know.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. B Complete Tiling are fully licensed and insured tilers. It means your job is carried out professionally and you have proper peace of mind while we're working on your property.
How do I get a quote?
The easiest way is to send a few details through the quote form on our contact page, or give us a call. We'll arrange a free on-site visit to measure up, talk through tile options and understand exactly what you want, then provide a clear written quote with no hidden extras.
How experienced is the team?
B Complete Tiling has been trusted by local homeowners for over 10 years. That experience shows in the details — careful preparation, clean cuts, even joints and a finish that lasts — and it's a big part of why so many of our jobs come from repeat clients and referrals.
Do you offer free quotes?
We do. Every quote starts with a free, no-obligation on-site visit so we can see the space, discuss what you're after and give you an accurate, written price. There's no cost and no pressure to go ahead.
Do you do both small jobs and large projects?
Yes. We take on everything from a single small bathroom or a patch of floor tiling through to complete bathroom renovations and large commercial projects. No job is too small to be done properly, and every client gets the same attention to detail.
Will my job be left clean and tidy?
Yes. We protect surrounding areas, clean up as we work and clear away offcuts and rubbish, so the space is handed back clean and ready to use. Punctual, courteous and tidy is how we like to work.
What kind of materials do you use?
We use top-quality glues, grouts, waterproofing membranes and finishing materials rather than cutting corners on what goes behind and under your tiles. Premium materials, combined with careful workmanship, are what make a tiling job genuinely last.

Bathroom tiling

Do you tile bathrooms across all of Brisbane?
Yes. We're local Brisbane bathroom tilers and we travel right across Brisbane and the surrounding suburbs, as well as the Gold Coast. Whether your bathroom is in the inner north, the eastern suburbs or further out, we can get to you. The best first step is to send through your suburb and a few details about the job using the quote form, or give us a call — we'll let you know straight away whether we can help and book in a time to look at it.
Do you waterproof before tiling a bathroom?
Absolutely. Waterproofing is one of the most important parts of any bathroom job, so we never skip it or rush it. We prepare the surface, apply waterproofing membranes to wet areas in line with Australian Standards, and allow proper curing time before a single tile goes down. Doing this properly is what protects your home from leaks and moisture damage years down the track, and it's a big part of why our work lasts.
Can you remove our old tiles before laying the new ones?
Yes, tile removal and replacement is a regular part of what we do. We can strip out old, cracked or dated tiles, prepare and repair the surface underneath, and lay your new tiles on a sound, level base. Old tiling often hides issues like failed waterproofing or uneven substrate, so removing it properly rather than tiling over the top usually gives a far better, longer-lasting result.
What tile sizes and styles can you lay?
We work with the full range — standard wall and floor tiles, large-format tiles, mosaics, subway tiles, herringbone and other feature patterns. If you've seen a look you love, bring us a photo and we'll talk through whether it suits your space and how it's best laid. We're happy to advise on tile choice during your quote so the finished bathroom looks the way you pictured it.
How do you price a bathroom tiling job?
Every bathroom is different, so we price each job individually rather than quoting a flat rate. After a free on-site visit we look at the size of the area, the tile type and layout, how much preparation and waterproofing is needed, and any removal of old tiles. You then get a clear, written quote with no hidden extras — transparent pricing is something our clients consistently mention.
How long does bathroom tiling take?
It depends on the size of the bathroom, the tile and the amount of preparation involved, but most standard bathrooms are tiled within a few working days once we start. Waterproofing needs curing time built into the schedule. When we quote your job we'll give you a realistic timeframe so you know exactly what to expect and can plan around it.
Do you tile showers and other wet areas?
Yes. Showers, recesses, niches and other wet areas are some of the most detail-heavy parts of a bathroom, and they're exactly where careful tiling matters most. We prepare and waterproof these areas thoroughly, then tile them with tight, even joints and clean cuts so they look sharp and stay watertight.
Will you clean up after the job is finished?
We will. We take real pride in tidy, professional work, so we protect surrounding areas while we tile and clear away offcuts, dust and rubbish as we go. When we hand the bathroom back it's clean, sealed and ready to use — you shouldn't be left with a mess to deal with.

Bathroom renovations

Do you manage the whole bathroom renovation?
Yes. We carry out complete bathroom renovations and coordinate the job from start to finish so you're not left chasing different trades. From stripping out the old bathroom to waterproofing, tiling, fixtures and the final finish, we manage the work and keep you updated along the way. It's a far simpler experience for you than trying to project-manage a renovation yourself.
Can you do a budget-friendly renovation?
Definitely. We renovate bathrooms at every level — if you want to go all-in with premium finishes we'll deliver that, and if you're working to a tighter budget we'll help you get a fresh, well-finished bathroom without overspending. Tell us your budget and what matters most to you, and we'll talk through the smartest way to spend it.
What's included in a complete bathroom renovation?
A typical complete renovation covers removal of the old bathroom, surface preparation, waterproofing, wall and floor tiling, installing fixtures and fittings, and any feature finishes such as micro-cement. The exact scope depends on what you want done, so we'll walk through it with you at the quote stage and set out clearly what's included before any work starts.
Do you renovate small bathrooms and ensuites?
Yes. Small bathrooms and ensuites are some of our most common jobs. A compact space actually rewards careful tiling and good planning — the right tile choice, layout and finishes can make a small bathroom feel noticeably larger and more considered. We give small jobs the same attention to detail as full renovations.
How do you quote a bathroom renovation?
We start with a free on-site visit so we can see the space, understand what you want and discuss options. From there you receive a clear written quote covering the agreed scope of work. Pricing depends on the size of the bathroom, the finishes you choose and how much removal and preparation is involved, and we keep it transparent with no surprise extras.
How long does a bathroom renovation take?
Most bathroom renovations run over one to a few weeks depending on the size of the room, the scope of work and curing times for waterproofing. We'll give you a realistic timeframe with your quote and keep you informed as the job progresses, so you always know where things are up to.
Do you renovate bathrooms in units and body corporate properties?
Yes. We work on residential homes as well as commercial and body corporate properties, so unit and apartment bathrooms are well within what we do. If your renovation involves body corporate approvals or building access, let us know early and we'll work in with the requirements.
Can you help us choose tiles and finishes?
We can. Choosing tiles, layouts and finishes can be the hardest part of a renovation, so we're happy to talk you through options that suit your space, your style and your budget during the quote. Our goal is a bathroom you're genuinely happy with, so we'd rather help you get the selections right from the start.

Floor tiling

Do you tile floors for both homes and businesses?
Yes. We lay floor tiles for residential homes — living areas, kitchens, hallways and more — as well as commercial spaces such as offices, retail fit-outs and other business premises. Whatever the setting, the priorities are the same: a level, well-prepared base and tiles laid with clean, consistent joints.
Can you tile over an existing floor?
Sometimes, but not always — it depends on the condition and type of the existing floor. We'll assess it first, because tiling over an unsound or uneven surface causes problems later. In many cases the better result comes from removing the old floor, preparing the substrate and laying the new tiles on a sound base. We'll give you an honest recommendation at the quote.
What areas of a property do you tile?
We tile living and family rooms, kitchens, hallways, laundries, outdoor and entertaining areas, and commercial floors such as offices and retail spaces. If you're tiling a high-traffic area we'll talk through tile choices that stand up to wear, and if it's a feature space we'll focus on getting the layout and pattern looking sharp.
Do you prepare and level the floor before tiling?
Always. Floor preparation is what separates a tiling job that looks good for decades from one that cracks or lifts. We check the substrate, level and prepare it as needed, and only tile once the base is sound. It's not the glamorous part of the job, but it's the part that protects your investment.
What tiles work best for floors?
Durable tiles such as porcelain are popular for floors because they handle traffic, moisture and cleaning well, but the right choice depends on the room, the look you want and your budget. We're happy to talk through options during your quote so you end up with a floor that suits how the space is actually used.
How do you price floor tiling?
Floor tiling is priced per job after a free on-site quote. The main factors are the floor area, the amount of preparation and levelling required, the tile type and layout, and whether any old flooring needs removing. You'll receive a clear written price up front with no hidden extras.
Do you seal the floor after tiling?
Yes — we grout the floor and seal where appropriate so it's protected and ready to use. Sealing helps keep grout lines and certain tile types easier to clean and more resistant to staining. We'll let you know what your particular floor needs as part of the job.
How long does floor tiling take?
It depends on the size of the area and how much preparation is involved, but many floors are completed within a few working days once we start. We'll give you a clear timeframe with your quote and let you know when the floor is ready to walk on and use normally.
