What plastering services do you offer?
We offer plastering and sanding (pre-paint), plasterboard installation (Gyprock/Drywall), plasterboard repairs including fixing holes and cracks, and cornice installation and repairs.
How do you repair holes in plasterboard?
Small holes (under 50mm) can be filled with setting compound or a patch kit. Larger holes require a backing board, fresh plasterboard offcut, setting compound, and feathering/sanding to blend with the surrounding wall before painting.
Can you repair water-damaged plasterboard?
Yes — we remove and replace water-damaged plasterboard, re-tape and set the joins, and sand ready for painting. We strongly recommend fixing the source of moisture before we repair the plasterboard.
How long does plasterboard installation take?
A standard room can typically be lined in a day. Setting and sanding the joins requires drying time between coats and may add one to two additional days before the surface is paint-ready.
What is cornice repair?
Cornices can crack, sag, or come away from the ceiling over time. We re-fix loose sections, fill cracks, and sand back to a smooth finish. Severely damaged sections are replaced with matching profile cornice.
Do you install Gyprock (drywall) for renovations?
Yes — we install plasterboard for new walls, ceilings, and partition walls. We handle measuring, cutting, fixing, taping, setting, and sanding ready for paint.
Can you skim coat an old wall?
We can apply a finishing plaster skim coat to smooth out rough or damaged existing plaster walls. This provides a fresh surface for painting without full replastering.
